    Spectacular

by M. B. on 3/10/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

From the second you walk in the theater to the final bows, this show is mind-bogglingly amazing. Karen Olivo and Aaron Tveit are spectacular. If you get a chance to get can can seating, I’d highly recommend it to be fully immersed and at times, surrounded, by the cast of this amazing show. I want to see it a million times more!

    A Colorful Spectacle

by Heather Hale on 3/9/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

Clever sets. Gorgeous, graceful bodies in beautiful, sexy costumes. Outstanding leads with tremendous depth of talent all the way through the fine cast. If you think you've seen "Moulin Rouge" (cause you've seen the movie or even another version of the show), this is definitely a "different," updated take: the classic story set to familiar, contemporary music and some fun meta jokes. An emotionally engaging performance.

    Another Jukebox Musical

by Jorge Miami on 3/8/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

Great staging and performances but it’s like any other jukebox musical: broadway actors singing cover to pop hits. Not for me.

    Great show!

by Elle on 3/8/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

The theater is cowered in red velvet, the elefhant and the moulin rouge is there. With all the great performances, the musics, many different screens and a portion of humour you're in the world. Go and join the great show!!

All the actors were outstanding. Santine, was my favorite, but i loved them all. Best part of all, i loved the stage set, when i walked into the theater, i was like a kid, amazed, that elephant omg. Loved it, would love to see Moulin Rouge again!!!!

    Beyond expectations!

by Somewhat apprehensive on 3/7/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

I purchased tickets for Valentine's Day for my husband. Had no clue what this play was about so we were both apprehensive as what to expect! Sat up in the mezzanine section, which I was disappointed in because the incline down to the stage was a bit poor and if anyone was 6ft or higher in height, you would have difficulty seeing. Turns out the people in front of us were not only tall, but had lovely hair that was wider then their shoulders which unfortunately blocked 80% of our view, especially when the actors would step forward onto the forward stage in the audience. During intermission, we politely asked if there were any open seats and to our surprise, the attendant found 2 seats a bit closer that were perfect! We are very thankful and grateful for her help with the seat change. Moulin Rouge! was outstanding and was beyond our expectations! After the move in seating, we could clearly enjoy it. The actors were so skilled that we became immersed in the plot which was heartwarming and riveting! By the end of the play, the acting combined with the extraordinary music brought the audience to their feet for a standing ovation! On a 1-10, I give this musical play a 9 1/2, losing the second 1/2 to the poor seating angle in the middle of the mezzanine.

    A visual feast

by I❤️Vaudeville on 3/6/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

This is one of the best Broadway shows in a long time... from set design, lighting and costume. Choreography is impeccable during the tango scene... loved it!

    Spectacular, Spectacular!

by J. T. on 3/5/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

I went to this show because I love the movie. If you love the movie, you will love this musical as well. Everything in this show is so awesome. From their stage and decorations, you will feel like you’re really in the movie. The cast, they’re really good especially the top cast. Karen Olivo is really good. She’s full of emotions. Aaron Tveit wasn’t there. Another Aaron I think was there to do his role. He did great though. Prepare your tissues especially if you’re a crybaby. This show will hit you hard. I bought their t-shirt for my souvenir. It’s okay t-shirt. It’s just, they could do the print better. I bought magnet and pen. They’re good.

    Cast six feet under

by Kathie on 3/4/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

Love the story (unlike some critics), acting/voices were amaxing. Only complaint was cast sometimes seemed to be literally under us on the mezzanine and there was no way for us to see what was going on! Beautiful theater-one of my favs!

    Fantastical

by JAA on 3/4/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

I loved every minute of this show! The stage was a thing of wonders and the cast delivered high energy performances. The music was updated to hits from this decade, which made the show feel more relatable than the movie version.

    Watch the dvd

by Dane on 3/4/20Al Hirschfeld Theatre - New York

This show is a disaster! With no character development, a lack of focus, poor choice of songs, the dancers were marking. Lack of heart. Both my friends fell asleep and the old man next to them. The majority of the numbers feel like a cruise ship production. The incredible set can not make up or save this! DISASTER!
