About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

  • Best show ever!

by Leanna on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve never been to Montage Mountain before and I thought it was a great venue to be at! Although the security guards could be a little rude from time to time it wasn’t bad. Huge! The concert overall was amazing! Saw Ice Nine Kills and Motionless in White at Warped Tour in 2018 at Darien Center for the first time and they were amazing then! They absolutely killed it this time around! First time seeing BVB and We Came as Romans and they were great as well! Almost debated on grabbing tickets for the trinity of terror tour part 3 just to see everyone play again! Was so much fun and worth the money! Not to mention MIW played in their hometown and Chris Motionless’s hometown and that was a great experience to be a part of!

  • Waited in line while they played

by T on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 1 out of 5

I Only know and like 1 song, my friend likes them though.

  • AMAZING

by Amina on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

This was not only a special day for the band since it was their hometown show, it was special for my group of people that went as it was my sisters 18th birthday. She had the time of her life

  • Best concert ever, with only 1 flaw

by S. H. on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

Venue, bands, all were fantastic! I had the best time. I was also alone, felt very safe, plenty of security. My only complaint is the merch, you need to split that gig up. Add another booth or 2! Waiting in line for over an hour, close to 2, is really not cool.

  • Eh

by Ashley on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 3 out of 5

Wouldve been the easiest 5 star review if it didnt take 2 hours in a merchandise line that took right until the 3rd band started.

  • Motionless is always a great show to go to!

Second time seeing them and they are great entertainers/showmen coupled with great music! Highly recommend going to see them at least once!

It is the worst venue I’ve ever been to. The sound was horrible and I got parked in and had to wait an hr to leave

  • One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen

by G on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

Between ice nine kills‘s insane horror antics, to we came as Romans’s underrated vocals, to black veils’s instrumentals to the downright out of this world performance from the hometown band motionless in white. It was one of the best if not the best concerts I’ve ever seen and I would recommend anyone to get tickets to the trinity of terror tour as soon as they can if they are coming to your city!

by Rockinchuck on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

What can I say Chris with motionless in white rocked the stage. Was the best I have even seen in a concert. Great experience can’t wait to go see them again.

  • Absolutely the best show I have ever attended

  • Great performance, sub-par venue

by Jen on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 2 out of 5

The bands put on a heck of a show, but the venue leaves a lot to be desired. There was one merch stand, and the line for the merch stand extended back to the stands. You could buy merch, or see all the bands. There was no way to do both. They ran out of large cups. They ran out of souvenior cups. They charged $15 for a lemonade. Everytime we wanted to go back to our seats, we had to show our tickets, which is absolutely ridiculous. How about if someone is in my seat, I'll come find you.

  • Best homecoming show ever!

by Sassy0319 on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

Great stage presence, excellent vocals, crowd engaging. Seeing Chris get emotional on finally playing his bucket list venue. Great to see our hometown boys in their element!

  • Hell of a show!

by Xmeggo on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

by Henry on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 4 out of 5

One the best concerts at montage mountain , very good music, security & sound

  • Loveddddd it

by Motionless fan on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoy their performance, I’m not a huge fan of the venue so I avoid concerts there but I heard they were coming and couldn’t miss them! I wish the tshirt line wasn’t a mile long and they had another merch stand or sold merch online for this event but that’s alright!

  • Amazing show!

by Funi on 9/12/22The Pavilion at Montage Mountain - ScrantonRating: 5 out of 5

The energy of all the bands were off the charts! It was such an awesome time! The only downside was that the merchandise line was way too long & I couldn't get my usual hoodies/T-shirts :(.
