About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

Great show by all the performers!!! Lots of energy and they really delivered a hell of a performance. It was my daughter 22nd birthday- she's a HUGE fan of Motionless and this was the best gift she received! The venue though had much to be desired... -- doors didn't open till after 6PM. Causing people to stand in outside in freezing cold weather for way too long. -- ladies upstairs bathroom was out of toilet paper prior to Motionless even hitting the stage. -- standing room only on all floors was hideous!!! Making people stand for the entire show.

  • Absolutely Incredible Show

I admit I had doubts after looking up MIW youtube live videos, but don't pay attention to those at all. They blew my expectations so far out of the water it was ridiculous--it sounded better than their actual records, and Chris kills it for Puppets 3. The crowd participation is fantastic and you're guaranteed a good time. If you like even one song by them, buy tickets and treat yourself.

this was a great concert. i had a blast with the mosh pits and crowd surfing and headbanging and just rocking out. the venue was small but that just made it even better because even in the back of the room i was able to see everything.

The show was totally unforgettable. The bands infused energy into every song for every waking second. The experience is one I'll hold near and dear to me for the rest of my life.

I bought for Chelsea Grin and MIW, but the openers blew me away! The Witch Was Right was OK, but Upon This Dawning was awesome, I got to meet the band and they signed a poster for me. Stick To Your Guns had to long of a setlist and the guy talked too much, but they put on a hell of a show. You know Chelsea Grin was the best at the show when the crowd chanted their name and not anyone else's. Motionless In White was spectacular, no near as good as Chelsea Grin, but it was pretty awesome. I even met Alex from Chelsea Grin!!! One of my inspirations as a vocalist! What a great night!
