Enjoyed it very much, we are both Monty Python fans for years. Music and quips were great and the costumes and set well done. Great show.

    Spamalot was the best

by Tusenelda on 11/24/10Adler Theatre - Davenport

What a great evening of laughter. The play is acutally better than the movies because it has an ending. Both my daughter and I enjoyed the whole play alot.

This play is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys all things Monty Python related. However, this isn't really a show for kids as there are a lot of innuendos and inappropriate things that adults would find humorous.

    Spamalot

by bandjammer on 11/23/10Adler Theatre - Davenport

This is a retelling with music of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It is fabulous. I hadn't heard or seen the show before. It was really funny with lots of gags and new jokes that weren't in the original. I highly recommend it to anyone. Python fans will especially love it, but please don't say the lines before the actors on stage say them.

Simply put, if you are a fan of Monty Python you will like this show. If not, you will still probably like it. It was entertaining throughout and there was a clever ending.

Stunning, ne plus ultra performance! FUNNY (gallop, gallop....thought I was transformed into the movie: Holy Grail with Eric and the rest of the...nudge...nudge... Monty Pythons. Well....almost - but close!

    Fantastic Show!

    by KURTDO68 on 11/23/10Adler Theatre - Davenport

It was just an amazing production! We laughed all night long. I'm a big Python fan but I think even if you are not familiar with their work it would still be very enjoyable. The staging and sound was fantastic. We had great seats. Not having watched the movie in a while it was fun to anticipate the next scene. GREAT SHOW!!!!!

I was throughly impressed with the great show!! Just as good as Broadway without the long travel time. We sat in the upper balcony and the only disappointing thing was: THE SOUND, Sometimes couldn't hear the vocals or dialog veryy well.

Spamlot mimincked the Holy Grail.. Act II especially enjoyable because it was more irreverent. Great acting by cast with phenomenal voices. Cast were really involved with their parts and enjoyed playing their individual characters. also a plus, audience participation.

Always look on the bright side of life!

by GrammafromNY on 10/28/10Broome County Forum - Binghamton

Really enjoyed the show. Big Monty Python fan for many years and didn't know how it would move to stage. Great Job! But, why doesn't the staff allow patrons to take their seats earlier? Shouldn't be standing in line to get in 5 min before show.

didn't get the humor. However, I did not see the movies, maybe that would have made the show more funny.
