About

MOE. IN CONCERT:

When it comes to taking risks on stage, few bands lay it all on the line like beloved jam rockers moe. Whether they're tackling fan favorites like "Plane Crash" or whipping up a creative cover of Paul Simon's "Late in the Evening", moe. remain rigorously dedicated to live improvisation and experimentation, delivering their sets with a sense of humor and showmanship that make them one of the most entertaining acts in the business. Festival favorites who've played Bonnaroo five times and counting, moe. continue to deliver the jams on their fun-filled tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Moe. was formed by a group of University of Buffalo students who got together in 1989 to perform at a friend's Halloween party. They continued to play together over the next several years, and in 1992 they released their debut album Fatboy. The band's impressive live shows helped establish them in the New York region, and by the time their 1994 sophomore album Headseed was released the members had all quit their day jobs and relocated to Albany to focus on the project full-time.  The band continued to release solid albums, and by the '00s they were appearing to adoring throngs at Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, where their 2002 set earned them a Jammy Award (the jam band equivalent of a Grammy). Moe. released their 11th studio album No Guts, No Glory! in 2014, and they continue to create plenty of on-the-fly magic on their unforgettable tours.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"This was an incredible performance by a group of extremely talented musicians. They seemed passionate about giving a great show to their fans and played a very long set that never had a dull moment."

"Typical moe., Tons of Energy, Awesome Jams and the Buddha was there with full on horns to compliment the songs.

"moe. never disappoints. Cookin Songs. Heavy Jammin'. This is all you need to know."

  • A great band at a very cool venue

by Wockells on 3/20/23Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I have been seeing moe. for nearly 30 years now. At least a good solid 25. It had been a while. They really are so much fun to see live. Seeing them at the Culture Room was a blast. A small and intimate setting. Very cool.

Absolutely great show. Saw them a couple of years ago in Atlanta. Was a little disappointed but they weren't by themselves. This time they were and it was fantastic. Truly can't wait to see them again the next time they come around.

Moe was amazing as always! The show was too short as always, but I could listen to them all night. Really nice venue; great sound & views, and surprisingly uncrowded. Reasonably priced parking; $10 right across the street. An A+ evening

Had a great time at the Wellmont theater, and moe. is a wonderful band. Theater is a beautiful place, and has a lot of history being 100 years old. It was great to see Chuck back on stage and Nate is an awesome addition as a piano player. can’t wait to see the boys again. I will definitely return to this theater to see more concerts.

I'm thrilled that the floor was not overcrowded as some GA events can get. Band hit the mark - it was great to see the full ensemble again!

  • The show was great.

by Kid on 12/19/21The Capitol Theatre, Port Chester, NY - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, solid musicians. Can wait to see Moe again. My only complaint was security wasn’t really checking anyone. Yes they have the metal detectors, but no one was really paying attention to them. I am not a paranoid person, however with all this craziness going on in the world, I don’t mind the wand and being patted down.

  • Good music , and atmosphere

I love seeing Jose at the chapel theater and Also the Beacon Theatre, unfortunate enough to go to many shows at each venue, and all the employees are very nice. Thank you M beacon and I look forward to many many more shows upcoming in my life there. Happy holidays, happy Festivus for the rest of us! Lol
