MOE. IN CONCERT:
When it comes to taking risks on stage, few bands lay it all on the line like beloved jam rockers moe. Whether they're tackling fan favorites like "Plane Crash" or whipping up a creative cover of Paul Simon's "Late in the Evening", moe. remain rigorously dedicated to live improvisation and experimentation, delivering their sets with a sense of humor and showmanship that make them one of the most entertaining acts in the business. Festival favorites who've played Bonnaroo five times and counting, moe. continue to deliver the jams on their fun-filled tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Moe. was formed by a group of University of Buffalo students who got together in 1989 to perform at a friend's Halloween party. They continued to play together over the next several years, and in 1992 they released their debut album Fatboy. The band's impressive live shows helped establish them in the New York region, and by the time their 1994 sophomore album Headseed was released the members had all quit their day jobs and relocated to Albany to focus on the project full-time. The band continued to release solid albums, and by the '00s they were appearing to adoring throngs at Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, where their 2002 set earned them a Jammy Award (the jam band equivalent of a Grammy). Moe. released their 11th studio album No Guts, No Glory! in 2014, and they continue to create plenty of on-the-fly magic on their unforgettable tours.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"This was an incredible performance by a group of extremely talented musicians. They seemed passionate about giving a great show to their fans and played a very long set that never had a dull moment."
"Typical moe., Tons of Energy, Awesome Jams and the Buddha was there with full on horns to compliment the songs.
"moe. never disappoints. Cookin Songs. Heavy Jammin'. This is all you need to know."

Friday’s show was disappointing… Song selection and energy was just OK
what a blast it was. moe. return to the capitol theater was nithing short of spectacular
Subject says it. The show had great moments but the setlist left much to be desired outside of Rec Chem and smokin’ Timmy. Show was far from sold out as was the next night. I was told that their ticket sales are trending down. Not sure why but could be the setlists.
I got lost from my companion immediately. Met some awesome people. It was great
We rode the rails on this ride! Great show! Can’t wait to see them again!
The Pageant is acoustically wonderful while retaining an intimate feel. moe. played a couple of subdued sets, with the songs being alive and energetic, but a little lower key than other shows attended recently. Finishing the encore with Gone instead of 32 Things was remarkably powerful for me. Charlie’s voice is really getting stronger with each show, and that really came through in The Weight. Jim, Rob, and Al were all on point and kept the jams rolling along with smooth transitions into each next song. Vin was on fire; unsure if being able to watch his mastery of his kit makes a difference, but it is a spectacle to see! Always a treat to talk with Z, Frank, and Steve. A truly spectacular evening of great music. 10/10, will definitely see again.
Moe was serving up the jams on all cylinders!!great tunes and you get to go down the rabbit hole with them what more could you ask?I hope they swing back through again soon.if you get the chance i recommend you go see em!!
I used to see moe. all the time when I lived back in Colorado. I was sad that I didn't get to see them as much after moving to Madison, WI. As soon as the show was announced, I was ecstatic and bought my tickets immediately. I'm so glad I went! It was one of the best shows I've seen! Everyone there was awesome. Seriously good vibes. I was so happy to see the guys again. The theater was nice too! Small enough to be intimate but not too small. I would definitely go back to the theater again and I will always see moe. when they come back.
That was one fantastic show! I can't wait to see them again!
Best damn band in the land.go see them immediately...You will not be disappointed...you will be thoroughly rocked out proper like..thank you..proud moeron here for 30 years..will continue to go all and any moe shows...bring your friends...
I love the venue - super great service - plenty of food and drink options and loved the fire pits outside. Sound was stellar and entertainment was amazing!
this band is amazing, if you don't know that you're missing out But what we didn't know was how awesome this venue also is! Yay for Harrisburg, we will be back!
Moe rocked the Borgota house down in Atlantic City
Both shows were fantastic, had such a great time all weekend.
One of the best live bands ever. This show was no different The whole band was on fire.Especially Chuck Rob and Al.
The instruments were amazing but vocals were not as clear as they could have been. The Knitting Factory had the temperature way too low.
First time seeing Moe. and was very satisfied with the band's performance, the production, and the quality of the Echo Lounge. I have been here a few times before, and the sound quality in the open has always been good. Not so great under the balcony on the sides. The house production was also very quality. It is a relatively new Live Nation venue, so a high-end experience is to be expected. The event parking cost was a bit high, and the drinks in the venue are out of hand. It would also be nice if there was Something...Anything within walking distance to pre-game. However, I gave the full 5 stars because this night they had a couple local beers for $6 each, which felt like they were doing us a solid. While not a fan of the big national conglomerate taking all the shows away from the smaller "local" venues, it feels like the Echo Lounge is finding its way back down to earth for all us regular folk.
Absolutely awesome! We danced the night away! Thanks for coming to Charlottesville Moe! We really appreciate it!!
Awesome show!! Amazing that Chuck is doing as well as he is. Close to a sell-out, definitely a full house. We were front row balcony, floor was packed for parts of the show. I went down late in the show and lucked into a Plane Crash!! Sweet show, great setlist!🙂🎶✌️
Awesome evening from start to finish. Can’t wait to see them again!
