    A thespian’s perspective

    by Mookie on 12/9/21

This is not your normal Broadway jukebox musical that comes with all of the issues that the genre is plagued with. This is absolutely the most fun on Broadway that I have ever experience. The musical is the best show I have ever witnessed live. From the acting, to the sets, to the writing, it’s all a must see. There hasn’t been a happening like this on Broadway that has felt like an experience in a long time. This, this is an experience.

    by Mellie321 on 12/8/21

I saw the first night of previews . Myles Frost in his first Broadway show …is a star. He embodies MJ in speech, song and dance . I saw the audience give his performance at least 4 standing ovations. This musical is a must see for everyone!

From start to finish I was mesmerised. So much talent all on one stage. The designs, the acting, the choreography - all do Michael Jackson proud. A must see for all ages. I’m already planning a second trip back.

    Amazing show!

    by Justice on 12/8/21

This show was incredible! The cast, the set design, the lighting, the overall vibes and energy of the audience, I mean seriously this show was spectacular!! The musical numbers almost had a montage-like quality to them which made them flow perfectly, each scene was masterfully changed and the segments between past and present MJ went by seamlessly. Overall amazing experience. Myles Frost understood his assignment and perfected is, he seriously nailed MJ! This show deserves to tour.

A must see show! Among the best on Broadways

    by countryman on 12/8/21

If you saw social media comments calling this show amazing, thrilling, incredible believe it, it's true. Let's start with the lead, Myles Frost. It's very hard to sing and dance like Michael Jackson and not come up short but this guy sounds just great and his moves are fluid, he is unquestionably an excellent dancer. There are two other "Michaels" , child and "middle" Michael who are also very good. The choreography is captivating it's not just the standard Jackson routines, more than that. The story is not going from A to Z, rather we see a rehearsal for the 1992 Dangerous tour and in that context we see various events of his life and how they affected him. Although unusual somehow they made it work. The book handles Michael's troubles with care and compassion, a welcome dose of truth about his life instead of the usual sensationalist garbage we see in the media. The preview got numerous standing ovations throughout the show which I can't even remember seeing at any other Broadway show. Oh and let's not forget the sets which are just simply stunning works of art. Congratulation to the whole team who created this show. Hope it will go on and on and on.
