Minnesota Wild History
The state of Minnesota was without an NHL franchise for seven years after the 1993 departure of the North Stars. That void was filled when the city of Saint Paul landed the Wild as an expansion team in 2000. Hall of Famer Jacques Lemaire took over as the franchise's first head coach.
The Wild advanced to the Western Conference Final in 2003 behind the play of right wing Marián Gáborík, and has gone on to post a winning record in almost every season since. Starting with the 2012-2013 season, Minnesota reached the postseason six consecutive times.
Center Mikko Koivu spent his entire NHL career with the Wild and is the franchise's all-time leader in games played, points and assists. In 2022, the Wild retired Koivu's jersey, the first player in franchise history to have a jersey retired.

There's not a bad seat in the.... yes I will still call it XCEL ENERGY CENTER. The drink rail seats in the upper level are fantastic and I try and get those seats when I attend a Wild game. The Wild and their play were lacking inspiration this game but I'll be back to another game soon.
We have traveled to Minnesota for Wild games 3 times this season to watch Fleury. Love going to Wild games. The venue is great, food selection is wonderful, overall an awesome experience.
We had great seats! Great game and we got to see Fleury play his last reg season game!
I took my best friend to his first Wild game on Prince Night against the San Jose Sharks. We're both Prince fans so that was awesome that we received jerseys. The seats were amazing evan in the upper deck. Best game I've been to lots of scoring 8 to 7 Wild win in overtime. My friend loved the action and he experienced two hat tricks,Erickson scoring four goals in a row,our goalie breaking the record for most overtime wins. My friend said after the game this is his new favorite game. Thank you Wild for making it a fun night
I have found it extremely difficult to get on and off Metro Mobility with the cement blocks in place by the gate 4. There is no where for the bus to put down the lift to get us into the bus.
The experience was amazing, love the arena, setup. And getting to see The Flower play was an added bonus
Great seating in Sec123 for wheelchairs. Wonderful view of the ice. Music does tend to be to loud though.
Tickets were easy to purchase. The instructions for the day of the game were helpful and clear. It was a great game and a wonderful arena. Go Wild!
We have a bucket list of watching the Blues play in other venues. We as Blues players were welcomed by your Wild fans. Beautiful arena great entertainment, one of my favorite venues so far.
