MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET ON TOUR:
Hot on the heels of its Broadway run, rock and roll musical Million Dollar Quartet is on the road to tell the story of the fateful meeting between Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash at an impromptu jam session in December of 1956. The musical focuses on these newcomers before they became icons, gathered for a rare collaboration at Sun Studios in Memphis. The cast brilliantly portrays the original performers while playing each timeless track with perfection and ease. Million Dollar Quartet will have fans all shook up this summer with their red-hot 2014 tour dates.

Million Dollar Quartet tells the story of four Southern rock legends who unexpectedly came together in 1956 for a very spontaneous recording session at Sun Studios. Since its 2007 premiere, the electrifying production has graced theaters across the US, landing on Broadway in 2010 for an acclaimed year-long run. Had an amazing time . Took my sis in law and my almost 15 yr old granddaughter, who was the only young person in the theater, and she absolutely loved it . The venue was so cozy and even though we were in section one , I didn't feel I missed a beat !! I will definitely go there again ! Million Dollar Quartet ROCKS
Good show with great music and interesting story line. The size of the venue was great for this show, no seats more than 11 rows away from the stage. I wish they had more than one bartender, they had to start the show late so that everyone could get to their seat.
The music was unbelievable. Everyone on their feet clapping and dancing. 3 more callbacks before they finally called it a night. This show will not disappoint!
Million Dollar Quartet was absolutely amazing! This was the second time we saw the group perform and we couldn't rave about this show more. The music is fantastic and the performers are amazing. They are so talented in all aspects (i.e. on their instruments, their singing abilities and performance wise). They can really belt it out and are in such perfect harmony. Go see this show before its over!
Second time I've seen the show and once again it was outstanding! If you like Jersey Boys go see this! Its what Rock n Roll is all about!
My daughter and I go to a show yearly. This year we went to Million Dollar Quartet and we thought it was awesome!!! It was amazing how all 4 guys sounded like the original Elvis, Jerry Lee, Carl, and Johnny. They also did a marvelous job copying the mannerisms of the original four. It's hard to say which one was best since they were all so wonderful! If you like Rock n' Roll, you'll love this show!!!
Loved this show more the second time I saw it. The Apollo is a great venue too.

This was our first event in Chicago and without a doubt it did not disappoint. The characters did such an amazing job. Johnny Cash was on point! We would definitely attend the Million Dollar Quartet again!
I'd been wanting to see MDQ for a long time and since it is closing in Chicago on Jan. 17, I had to get there. They put on such a great show - high energy, great musical talent and wonderful venue. If you haven't seen it, get there soon!
This show had been on my list to see for a long time and I am so glad that I finally saw it before it leaves Chicago! Excellent show! The actors were great and the music was spectacular! One of the best shows we've seen!

This show was extraordinary! The characters had so much energy and their renditions of the songs were spot on. It was funny and light as well as gave you a little insight into the career paths of each of these men. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!
This play was the perfect Christmas gift for my mom! She almost thought the actors were lip syncing to songs actually sung by the group themselves! Their voices were so realistic and it was almost as if we were taken back in time to an actual concert of the quartet. Well done, I would see it again!

Wonderful, wonderful show! Wonderful, wonderful venue! Wonderful, wonderful night out! Sixth time seeing it at this theater and would go another six times were it possible. So sad that it's in its final days. Whether or not you've already seen it do yourself (and the cast) a favor by seeing off "the little show that could" with a last, wondrous 90 minutes of joy, fun, and perfect rock 'n roll with a super, super group of people. In mourning forever!
We saw Million Dollar Quartet on Dec. 26 at 5 p.m. The Apollo Theater is a rather small venue so I would think that most seats provide a good view and sound quality. Our seats were center, up about 10 rows or so. The sound was so loud, I regret not taking my earplugs. But the show was very good. The Jerry Lee Lewis singer was funny and a hot piano player. The Carl Lewis guitar player was fantastic, playing with power and precision. Elvis looked, moved and sounded entertaining. These three were so energetic. Johnny Cash had a powerful, deep voice. I would recommend the show, and thought the price was reasonable for the evening.
Loved the show! We love musicals and this really made us dance in our seats! Overall excellent musical with brilliant performances! :)
