What is the Miami Open?
The Miami Open is a professional tennis tournament held annually in March in Miami, Florida that draws some of the top tennis talent on the men's and women's tours. Also known as the Miami Masters, it is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the men's tour and a Premier Mandatory event on the women's tour. The tennis event is held at Hard Rock Stadium where the NFL's Miami Dolphins play among other events. It was previously held at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne just off the coast of Miami.
The event moved to Hard Rock Stadium after over $500 million was spent in renovations, including a new tennis campus featuring 29 permanent tournament and practice courts as well as additional food and entertainment facilities. The 14,000-seat center court within Hard Rock Stadium is designed for intimacy, luxury and a comfortable fan experience. A state-of-the-art in-stadium shade canopy and the largest video board in tennis offers a luxury seating experience.

Amazing experience and very very good organized with bus transportation
It was very easy to use and pay everything was perfect i gor reminders and all
I always love coming to watch the Miami Open. The fact you can go from match to match is just brilliant. You get to see so many different players (some I've never even heard of before),in a beautiful yet casual location. I think I will miss Crandon Park, but it wont stop me from attending next year at the new location. Just wish Nadal had been playing :)
Love to watch in the Grandstand but continual cell rings disrupt. Plus why do fans think leaving their empty bottles and trash in the stands when they leave acceptable?
We got to see Federer up close from front row. It was great.
We’ll find out next April 01! Each day is great ATP and WTA are awesome. I’m blessed participating.
going to and from the Open is nightmarish. Terrible location considering the traffic. Sure was a nice facility. I especially enjoyed the different food options - nice variety.
Great atmosphere and good viewing. Traffic to get in and out is awful. Not events fault.
My mother and I had the best time at the Miami Open! General parking went like clockwork, there was plenty of food options and of course GREAT TENNIS! We will definitely be back to enjoy the new venue!
The Miami Open is a fantastic tennia venue. Great tennis, great atmosphere, excellent variety of vendors and super location.
What a fantastic experience. Great tennis everywhere! Outer courts especially fun as you are very close to the court and players. Get a real feel for the speed with which they hit. Venue was lovely....food court.....comfy couches in front of large screen tv....plenty of libations available as well. Only 4 stars due to the fact it was difficult to find appropriate exit to find the busses that run to parking lots. Also once dropped in lot very difficult to find automobile as the lot is not marked in any way other than the sections. Once in section we walked around with our key trying to activate alarm to find car. This is the only thing I think could use some tweaking. Not the best parking solution. Minimally the lot needs to be marked better than is now.
The venue is beautiful, and has a great layout. It’s very clean. The schedule was easy to follow. I enjoyed the matches. I would’ve given a 5, however, inappropriate outbursts from fans need to be addressed.
Miami Open knows how to put on a tennis event. Thoroughly enjoyable time. Wide open spaces to walk around; plenty of great tennis to watch; wide variety of food; attractive grounds. You can even bring your own sealed water bottle (no hard containers allowed) which is unheard of at major sports events. Very friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff. As you would expect, prices for food and drink in the stratosphere so expect to pay big time. We liked going during first week because crowds are smaller; you can choose to float between matches in outer courts and see lots of different players. Keep in mind you don't have to see the big names to witness unbelievably great tennis action.
I've to Indian Wells and the US Open and this tournament falls far short of both of those. Even the tournament in Cincinnati is better run than this one.
I was impressed that the site for this tournament wasn't huge and sprawling with concrete everywhere. For me, it was nice to walk under the canopy of trees as we walked from one court to another, and to be able to access all courts quickly and easily. Parking was a bit confusing, as there were few signs, which were easy to miss. Fortunately, we were with a friend who figured out where to go. I look forward to another visit to the Miami Open!
Excelent Match. Full event. Climate was perfect.
the best final ever! federer vs nadal. Can't ask for more. The only things is the crazy traffic in Miami and Key Biscane for the man's final. The hole bridge was bumper to bumper and for general parking you need to take a bus shuttle so it all takes time. Make sure you leave at least 3hrs early so you don't miss anything. Plus is nice to get there early and enjoy some food and drinks. They got great food vendors.
Nice day, but schedule was not clearly informed so we went really to early to the event.
Federer Nadal match was awesome. I am looking forward for 2018 tournament.
