What is the Miami Open?

The Miami Open is a professional tennis tournament held annually in March in Miami, Florida that draws some of the top tennis talent on the men's and women's tours. Also known as the Miami Masters, it is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the men's tour and a Premier Mandatory event on the women's tour. The tennis event is held at Hard Rock Stadium where the NFL's Miami Dolphins play among other events. It was previously held at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne just off the coast of Miami.

The event moved to Hard Rock Stadium after over $500 million was spent in renovations, including a new tennis campus featuring 29 permanent tournament and practice courts as well as additional food and entertainment facilities. The 14,000-seat center court within Hard Rock Stadium is designed for intimacy, luxury and a comfortable fan experience. A state-of-the-art in-stadium shade canopy and the largest video board in tennis offers a luxury seating experience.

Spectacular event for the city of Miami, needs to improve transportation and game times!! But the support, food and drink options are excellent. I recommend it!!

  • Late start and early ending

by Rick on 3/31/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 1 out of 5

Arrived at 7pm as scheduled. No entry. Then Raducanu played. Then Djokovic game as delayed for the other day! A 2-game night turned into one-game night with no refine, even of obviously everyone was there for Djokovic. Shame

  • A great event

by Anna on 3/31/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

The event was incredible. The experience with the cablecar was amazing. The stands offered a good variety of food/drinks and some sponsors gave unique gifts. All the volunteers were nice and attentive. The facilities were clean all the time.

  • Nice event, however

by Gaby Leao on 3/31/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 3 out of 5

Overall I liked the event but do not think I would go again. The Uber boarding and drop-off areas were confused. Too much traffic to arrive. I went for 2 days and in one of them, it took me 1.5h from South Beach to the Stadium by Uber. In the stadium, the matches were not shown on the screen, just the scores. No control at all of the audience getting in and out during the games. Distracting and disrespectful to people who were there to watch the matches.

  • Miami Open

by DN on 3/31/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

I had a good experience being at the event. However, it could have been better — my seat had a poor view, and this information was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Additionally, when I needed assistance, I didn’t receive any help.

  • Sn Ace Experience

by Susannah Fayre on 3/31/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

Hard Rock Stadium has gone all out to make a comfortable and efficient venue for the Miami Open, and the event director and staff has put together a terrific trnnis experience for all ages. Attendees get to see tomorrow’s stars today. Prices are high but you get a lot.

  • The organisation was not efficient

by Diego on 3/31/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 3 out of 5

I agree with those who claim that it could have been done better An official communication to the microphone would have been much appreciated and not a continuous update of the delays on the screens

We had an incredible time at the Miami Open! The event was very well-organized, with smooth parking, efficient entry, and a great atmosphere. There were plenty of fun activities to enjoy beyond the matches, and the food options were excellent. Everything ran seamlessly, making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. It’s a must-visit event for tennis fans, and we can’t wait to come back next year! 🎾✨

  • Seats configuration

by NR on 3/30/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 2 out of 5

I attended 3 matches. My view was obstructed every time by the person sitting in front of me.

  • Great Day at Miami Open

by kainoy on 3/30/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

Hubby and I attend this event each year. We travel in from Brooklyn NY and it is always well worth the trip. Each year brings a new experience. New vendors, eateries, and the event is well organized. Looking forward to the 2026 Miami Open event.

  • Top class tennis facility

by mikeabw on 3/30/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get around. Early round matches on the outer courts are such a teat. Very intimate setting. Stadium is big so be prepared to be far away. Parking also very organized.

  • Great day and night matches at the Miami Open

by Sylvie on 3/30/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

The food drinks and decor were great. I still miss the Key Biscayne venue but Hard Rock allows more fans to join. We had a great time this year

  • Poorly organized

by Peter on 3/30/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 2 out of 5

Every part of the event is poorly organized. It’s not a tennis center and it shows it. US open is far superior.

  • Exciting

by HAVI on 3/30/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

A great event in search of a permanent covered stadium

  • Lack of shade

by Andre on 3/30/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 3 out of 5

Great tennis, not so great overall experience. Given the high temperatures and constant sunlight it is a mystery to me why not all seats had a roof or at least some sort of a shade. Sitting at a stadium for a few hours during the daily session was unbearable.

  • Great event

by Mat on 3/29/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

The event was excellent. Good seats, easy entrance and great lounges. The only thing that could be better was the parking, specially to leave de complex.

  • Bad weather

by Dia on 3/29/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 3 out of 5

Weather condition stopped everyting. We had to leave earlier. Game were stopped due to weather conditions

  • Not the best

by Jana on 3/29/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 3 out of 5

Worst stadium transportation system I have ever seen! No shuttles, no public transport, NOTHING! Horrible! Event was okey, area is great, the time schedules could be way better.
