Miami Dolphins History
The Miami Dolphins are the oldest continuous major-league professional sports franchise in the state of Florida. Founded by Joe Robbie in 1965, they began play in the American Football League as an expansion team in 1966, then joined the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. The team has made 24 playoff appearances, won 13 division titles, five AFC championships, and two Super Bowl championships. The 1972 Dolphins are the only fully undefeated team in NFL history, finishing the year 17-0 with a victory in Super Bowl VII.
The Miami Dolphins have 17 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including greats such as Larry Csonka, Bob Griese, Dan Marino, and Jason Taylor. Three Dolphins have had their jerseys retired: Csonka's number 39, Griese's number 12 and Marino's number 13.

Hard Rock Stadium also hosts the annual Orange Bowl, and has played host to major sporting events such as Super Bowl LIV.
With a capacity of 64,767, the stadium completed a $500 million renovation project in 2016 that included the replacement of every seat in the stadium, and the addition of Field Club, North Sideline Club and corner terraces.

Staff and personnel very helpful first experience at the stadium and it was outstanding. Will bring my boys back again
Great game and awesome atmosphere!!! Hard Rock Stadium is just beautiful. Ticketmaster made the experience great.
That was my first visit to the stadium. I must say its the cleanest stadium I've been to. All the lots were very clean. Staff was excellent. Vendors were very courteous. Overall excellent experience.
Entrance was quick and overas experience was great.
Parking flowed easily to and from the game, ticket entry was smooth- and overall a great stadium to see a game. My one complaint is that I received notice that we could not tailgate in our lot but when we arrived, there were a gazillion tailgating parties in our lot so we were very disappointed
Everything was awesome very good experience I loved it
Enjoyed the game! And loved watching it in warm weather even more. The stadium is great! And with the new roof, we couldn’t even tell that it started raining.
Great venue for January NFL game - Warm weather, plenty of helpful staff, organized entry and egress, plenty of food and beverage offerings.
Great experience but my team lost! Better luck next year. Stadium is Ok , surrounding area is not great.
I love going to games at this stadium because it is a nice place, and warm! Even though there was a lot of disruption due to parking lot construction, they did a good job in making other arrangements.
Should not sell tickets when you only have parking a mile away
So I'm not from South Florida, but this is my 2nd game at Joe Robby and first since the renovations. I know they are under construction for the F1 track, so that didn't bother me to much getting in. Parking could have been better. On my last visit, the Yellow lots were cash and we could park there. This time they were not and were mostly empty... they really need to look at that in the future. Once we hiked from the Norwood lot (why would there be a lot named after a bad Buffalo kicker?), and found our way across into the stadium, getting to our seats was easy enough. Someone else had bought the tickets for us, and chosen the endzone seats. When the action was on our side of the field, these were great, when not there are enough screens around the stadium to see what's happening. There appeared to be a large selection of food vendors (even if they may have been understaffed or didn't understand english very well). Leaving the stadium was probably the worst of the experience.... thousands of people crowded trying to get out through one walkway outside the building. This is where the retaining fences (from the construction site) are a problem... people were climbing and jumping over them, which really isn't safe. In 30 years I have have seen about 5 Dolphins games (not bad for someone that lives 800 miles away!), 3 of which have been against the Jets... this is the first time that they've beat those schleps, thanks!
Perfect day for the game. Good seats, entertaining contest.
Was at HARD ROCK STADIUM. Used to be called Joe Robbie Stadium years ago. It's an older well maintained classic. Was recently renovated. Has a variety of food concession stands to choose from. Due to a Race track being built parking is at a premium. But there was a shuttle that went from the farthest lot to Stadium. Sunscreen is sold in the stadium for those that desire it. Good lines of sight all over. A GOOD TIME to be had by all here. Was here as a NY GIANTS fan and the DOLPHINS fans were very respectful.
PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE!!!! Stadium is great. Staff is great. Food is okay. Prices are high. Did I mention PARKING is a NIGHTMARE!?!?
Reserved parking was limited and unavailable when I tried to purchase. Had to settle for free parking and walk almost 2 miles each way. This is after spending a couple of thousand dollars on game tickets. Parking was a joke to say it politely. I will probably never attend this venue again.
I flew from NY to watch my Giants play the dolphins…they lost but the experience was awesome. Beautiful stadium!
Great seats for stadium. Watch out for the sun though. A bit much for a NYer
Stadium is great. Getting in and out of parking was easy
The stadium is very nice. The sound system is terrible as you cannot understand anything that is being said. Grateful there is a shuttle from the Calder parking Lot. Would definitely go to another event at the Stadium.
