Unbelievably TIGHT. I had an awesome time & will always follow Meshuggah for nearby shows for eternity š Thank you!
Meshuggahs sound, light show, performance, and setlist were all ABSOLUTELY IMPECCABLE. This was one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. There was a clear energy exchange between the crowd and the band and it was amazing to be a part of. The vibes at that show were amazing and it reminded me why I love the metal scene and music so much. I will forever continue to see them as much as humanly possible.
Meshuggah (love the name above all) is a hugely influential band in the metal universe, and understandably so. In the Wellmont Theater show they replicated some of their major album works with incredible precision and mind-boggling tempo -- only at ear-splitting and chest-thumping volume. That said, I find their music highly mechanical and lacking in the hooks that I find appealing in the work of some other metal bands, so maybe I'm not the best judge of this performance.
All 3 bands put on great shows. And the Wellmont is a nice venue
One of the best live bands. Sound is amazing, very clear and very heavy. Saw them 3 times on this current run, and each show was awesome!
Second time at the venue, first time was a comedy show. Lots of seats on the floor, great amenities and ambiance. Then I returned for Meshuggah. I came in during In Flames and they put on a fantastic show, full of energy, their new bass player Liam was the star of that show, 3 parts Les Claypool and one part Cliff Burton. I kinda shouldered my way through the crowd and ended up in front of center stage about 8 feet from the barricade. Now, Iām 44 years old, 6ā3 tall and the better part of 300lbs. Iāve seen Slayer in their prime, Metallica in the 1990ās, Nine Inch Nailsā¦. I have never, in my life, seen or felt more energy and power than I did during the whole Meshuggah set. First, when the pit opened up, everyone was pushed forward HARD. Absolute chaos. Bodies flying everywhere. It took every muscle in my core to keep from getting trampled. It was the single greatest concert experience of my life. Anytime Meshuggah plays MGM Fenway, you will find my old ass trying to not fall over in that mass of sweat and flesh and black concert tshirts. All the way to the last song, the energy was over 100%. Frightening and pleasurable. Good times
This venue is a professional business of the top tier and the bands that played are also of the same caliber. It was a perfect match!
Best show Iāve ever been to!! Bands sounded amazing and the crowd was super chill.
The best sound, light show, pit action, VIP experience one could possibly have. The only thing better would be to be able to meet and greet Meshuggah backstage. Quite literally the best show I've ever seen. Impressive.
Was a semi-small indoor venue. I was in the floor enjoying the pit and the bands up close. Staff monitored everything to ensure things were fun but kept at a safe level. My first time in Boston (from Maine) so the whole experience was new but awesome! Would reithe venue and the three bands.
Meshuggah are always incredible and the Boston show was no exception. They continue to be the best metal band in the world right now. In Flames played a great set with lots of energy.
Meshuggah are among the most accomplished live metal acts. I remember seeing them on the Ozzfest back in 2002, and other than maybe Tool or Iron Maiden, they are easily the most talented of all the Ozzfest alumni. Best drummer in metal bar none, and the guitarists, bassist and vocalist are all exemplary. Songs about turning into robots or evil gods coming to kill you were brought to life with stellar visuals and sounds. In Flames was a great opener. Would see again in a heartbeat.
Fantastic. Their show is sorta like Cthulu destroying the fabric of reality while you're tripping sack, hiding in a broken washing machine during an off-kilter spin cycle. But even better.
All three bands were really good! I've never seen In Flames, but they earned at least 1 fan! Meshuggah could not disappoint. Simply the most intense music I can think of!! Seen them twice previously, and they only get better!! I would recommend this concert to anyone, who needs a superlative to reference all other heavy rock. Very hypnotic, and seemed like it was over so fast!! That's proof of an entertaing concert.
Everything about Meshuggah was perfect! The sound at MGM was spot on - maybe the best sound of any concert Iāve ever been too. Meshuggah absolutely crushed! Canāt wait for the next tour through Boston - doesnāt matter the location or date or cost, Iām there!!
This is the first big concert that I've been to by myself, and I'm so happy I went! I went solo and made some friends, and had a good time through all three shows!!
Incredibly tight! Best Metal performance I've seen. Musicians will understand the reference to Steely Dan. In Flames and Whitechapel were great as well
I literally headbanged myself into whiplash. After waiting nearly two decades to see them, they did NOT disappoint. One of my top 10 shows ever.
Absolutely mind blowing! Meshuggah are hands down the Prog metal masters. Awesome show, awesome venue, the Paramount theater out on Long Island. Great, helpful staff. The show was one of the best Meshuggah shows ever. Super intense, loud, played all my faves. The band was so together, electrifying and the light show was spectacular. Wow. Cannot wait to see these geniuses again.
I enjoyed this concert. They played a lot of notes. Between the notes themselves, however, there were periods of silence. This created a tasteful presentation of dynamics. Also the drummer performed open heart surgery on stage. I couldn't have been more impressed by his multi tasking and prowess as a virtuoso percussionist (the patient didn't make it).
