    Always a blast!

by HLama on 12/17/23The Wind Creek Event Center - Bethlehem

Meshuggah never disappoints, and their opening bands were awesome as well! I loved it, as did my husband, who this was a gift for. The bands really tried to animate the crowd when it seemed to die down; that happening was certainly not on any of the bands. It was just not a lively crowd, I guess.

    Great time

by PAYankeeChick on 12/17/23The Wind Creek Event Center - Bethlehem

Great show all around. Each band played their hearts out, the venue itself was spacious and comfortable. I would suggest that the bands adjust their acoustics but still fabulous

It was worth the trip from NY. Awesome show and venue. I am so glad they came to U.S. I signed up for updates and it seemed like it was the next month they announced the tour. Loved Meshuggah so much!!!

    Amazing

by Jabberjaw on 12/16/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

I have waited for Meshuggah to come back around since covid, unfortunately i missed out the last time because it was too far away and im not interested in taking a car ride and two trains then a taxi to get to Brooklyn. Toyota Oakdale thearter in Connecticut was honestly one of the easiest venues to get to. Parking was a bit tight and sucked to get out of but i would do it again. Overall it was the best band i have seen in forever. This was my daughters first concert and she was completely blown away. So happy.

    Meshuggah levels the oakdale

by Metal on 12/15/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Love this theatre it’s close to home is gorgeous inside and has excellent acoustics. Stunned to see a metal show like this get booked there usually these kinds of bands don’t play here. Knowing Meshuggahs spectacular sound and lights was stoked for this show and they did not disappoint. Working so didn’t get in for the first two band but Meshuggah was spectacular. Mind blowing performance as I’ve come to expect from them and all and all an epic set list. Humilive, future breed machine, perpetual black second, minds mirrors in life in death is life in life is death, bleed, demiurge and broken cog were standouts for me personally with the most mind blowing being the catch 33 in life in death piece. Insane lighting. Such an incredible metal band and another epic performance at a great local venue

    Meshuggah/In Flanes

by Ray Hogan on 12/15/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Great show , wonderful staff , beautiful venue. Scored an all-in for Judas Priest there. One small gripe , they made us with pit tickets wait outside for too long for a New England December

    Quality performance

by Arpeet on 12/15/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

These guys shred every bit as hard as live as they do through my headphones. It was a pleasure seeing them live.

Most organized event ever, but hype/mood killer

by Val on 12/15/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

The venue is so clean and easy to access through the highways. The parking was very simple, and the show was right there, didn’t have to walk so much. So grateful of this specially during winter. I was excited about the bands opening the show; White Chapel did amazing, and In Flames were good too BUT, it was so awkward for them to see a bored audience, and awkward for us to see the vocalist trying to change the public’s mood. Let it be. They are such an amazing band, great music, but they don’t match in terms of musical genre. Maybe in a couple songs, but in general… I was expecting for something heavier to bring that hype up. No words for Meshuggah’s presentation, they were even more than expected. It was awesome. Something I like about metal/rock concerts is the break they need between each band’s presentation, that allows you to get some drinks and food, use the bathroom. But (once again), I can’t believe the background music the theater was playing during those breaks. It was this pop, pop/rock, which I also like; they were songs everybody knows, but you don’t wanna hear that on a metal concert! Silence would’ve been better. Listening careless whisper while waiting for Meshuggah was so off, but funny (like some kind of twisted joke) at the same time (for me), but for others around me, it was really uncomfortable and they took it more personal. And I agree; how are they going to mix those vibes? Please, take care of those things </3 The staff was very kind too, no rude at all. They were sweet, good vibing and helpful.

    In Flames

by Mel on 12/15/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Great show! Opening act was awful, but In Flames was awesome! We left after their set due to the timing ( weekday with early start the next morning) but we bought the Tix just to see InFlames 😃

    Music was phenomenal

by MAK on 12/15/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Loved In Flames & Meshuggah. Only problem is the ticketless entry. Once we were scanned at the door, we lost service in the Oakdale. We had no idea where our seats were (besides the general vicinity from our original selection). It is a bit of a hassle to have to go back to the door and ask for assistance to find your seats!

The Oakdale theater could use a sound upgrade for this type of music otherwise it was great

Wellmont Acoustics Not Suited For Metal

by JB on 12/15/23The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

Don't get me wrong, I had a blast! All 3 bands, especially Meshuggah, were top notch. The reason for the 3 star review is the acoustic in the Wellmont. The space is like a bathtub, washing out the sound of metal music, rendering it difficult to make out. You couldn't discern between the guitars and the bass, and it also ate up the drums. This was maddening because I was looking forward to listening to the mastery of Thomas Haake. It was very hard to make out his tom and cymbal work, and many of his fills got lost in the washed out acoustic of the Wellmont. I did notice that large acoustical panels had been installed on the side walls as I'm sure I'm not the 1st person to make this complaint. I've seen a few non-metal shows there in the past, and they were all better suited in that space. It just doesn't work well with metal, so I'll make sure to catch my favorite shredders in a different venue from now on.

    Sick show!

by Rick on 12/13/23MGM Music Hall at Fenway - Boston

In Flames was good even though they played 90% new stuff. Meshuggah tore the roof off of the place!
