So much Fun from start to finish!

by Heather M. on 4/11/24The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

Mean Girls, the musical was everything I had hoped for and more! It was SO FETCH!! From the actors to the costumes to the stage settings and the props, nothing, and I mean NOTHING disappointed; even the setting changes with props were exciting and entertaining. I started watching with a big smile and wide eyes and I stayed that way throughout the entire show. Mean girls lacked nothing and I left the show completely satisfied, even wishing it didn’t have to end. If you aren’t sure whether this show is worth it, trust me, it IS! After all, I’m your friend. Why would I lie to you?? 😉 IYKYK So, put on your pink, leave your vests at home, and come sit with us!! 😁💕

I think I like the live show better than the original movie! The cast was fantastic and the songs really were just perfect. I’d definitely see it again.

    Nothing extraordinary

The show was mediocre in my opinion-nothing short of a high school play

Horrible. Waste of time & money. Vulgar

by Savi on 4/8/24The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

I have been to a lot of plays and this one totally SUCKED! I was very unhappy & disappointed with it. Plus, it is very dirty & vulgar. Not raunchy, just straight up dirty…in terms of the language used, the inuendos, & the like. There were a lot of kids & teenagers in the audience and none of the dirty language and parts of the play had anything to do with the movie. They weren’t even funny and were completely inappropriate & had no reason to be put into the play. In particular, the scene where Regina drops her skirt & bends over, posing in her thong underwear over & over was just stupid, ridiculous, & crass. I was uncomfortable as an adult being that there were so many young kids there watching the same thing and I am no way a prude. It was a play many people brought their whole families to & judging from the audience reactions at times, nobody was expecting this kind of dirtiness & vulgarity. I had 2 teenage girls (unrelated) sitting next to me gasping at several scenes because they couldn’t believe the thong scene & all the times they used the word “D**k”. I wish I could get my time & money back. I would give it negative stars if that was an option.

    For Real

by DramaDog on 3/29/24William Saroyan Theatre Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - Fresno

The cast was believable, the snobbishness and different high school cliques were depicted appropriately. The music was inspiring, the timing and tempo were perfect. The sets were clever the way the school desks went in and out and twirled. Regina’s room was fake and fluffy, just like Regina. It was a brilliant adaptation of the Mean Girls movies.

by Jess on 3/25/24San Jose Center for the Performing Arts - San Jose

Mean Girls was an incredible show! This would land in my top 3 favorite shows I have seen! My 13 year old daughter loved it too (she is big into musical theater), she ranted and raved about it the whole weekend! “So Fetch”!

    Great voices needs song improvement

by jimmyG on 3/25/24San Jose Center for the Performing Arts - San Jose

We thought quality of cast is excellent. We did not walk away humming any of the tunes like we did from Les Mis nor Miss Saigon, nor Phantom. We did not see the movie but could tell from the audience reaction to different players the audience knew what was going to happen.
