Direct from Broadway, MEAN GIRLS is the hilarious hit musical from book writer TINA FEY ("30 Rock), composer JEFF RICHMOND ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"), lyricist NELL BENJAMIN (Legally Blonde) and director CASEY NICHOLAW (The Book of Mormon). The story of a naïve newbie who falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies, MEAN GIRLS "delivers with immense energy, a wicked sense of humor and joyful inside-jokery." USA Today says, "We'll let you in on a little secret, because we're such good friends: GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!

Mean Girls was fabulous. So funny and entertaining. Must see!!
Cheap costumes and cheap setting as well as talentless singers.
This production was excellent. The storyline was great. The cast was OUTSTANDING! Really enjoyed the whole production.
I loved every minute! It follows the movie very well and is full of laughs. It was just fun to watch!
Unfortunately this show was disappointing. The cast was talented but not at the level i would expect from a touring company. The dance numbers were not well choreographed or well executed. Costumes weren’t great either. I appreciate the effort of the cast, which did include a few highlights, but our local REP has put on better performances.
From start to finish, the BEST show I've seen in a very long time. Unexpected, funny, and imaginative, with so much real talent. This is exactly what a broadway show should be! Tina Fey- you knocked it outta the park!
We went to see Mean Girls in Little Rock , Arkansas. Talentless cast, cheap set, outdated costumes. Janice and Karen were the only talented actresses. The cast was so short, some of the cast had to stand in as female characters in a very odd way. The story line is great but this performance made it seem boring and endless.
Wow! I love musicals. This was an absolute flop. The story line was extremely weak. The actors were also not strong. They were miked up and you still could not hear or understand one of the male leads. The female leads were stronger, but the chorus was also very low quality. They could not sing or dance. I was stunned at how poor the quality of this musical was
Good cast & great music make for a really good show experience.
The show was ok, the audio wasn't the greatest in the theater
I really enjoyed Mean Girls! Very energetic and funny. One star off for poor sound in the QE. It was really hard to understand what they were singing/saying at times - I've never experienced that at the QE before. Read the lyrics of some of the songs when I got home.
Wished I skipped it; didn’t enjoy it all. At the end of the show, I felt depleted from the noise and screams , feeling I wasted 3 hours of my life, and left the theatre with a huge headache. Shows should clearly indicate targeted audience as this show is incomprehensible to me being a person who has not spent high school years in North America! I still don’t understand what that this is show is all about! It has no universal value, just a very narrow mind view of the world!
I really enjoyed Mean Girls on Saturday, January 27th matinee performance. A large cast of very talented singers, dancers and performers with very high energy! It was great. During the first act, unfortunately, one of the lead performers was injured when a piece of sharp metal trim from the top of a door frame came loose, hitting her face and making quite a gash. The show was stopped, and curtains closed for about 15 mins. The understudy for the role took over when the show resumed and did a spectacular job - never missing a beat. I do hope the performer that was injured is okay. It would have been nice at the end of the show to mention something to reassure the audience. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices are sure up for show swag though.
We really enjoyed the performance. It wasn’t really a subject we were interested in but we want to support the arts. We buy tickets to all Broadway shows that come to Vancouver.
We had a lot of fun at Mean Girls! Unfortunately, because our seats were quite far back, the sound of the performers on the stage sometimes did not reach us. That is not a criticism of the show, but it did affect our enjoyment of the performance. It just wasn’t loud enough for the seats at the back.
Seats were in orchestra on left side. Both of us had trouble hearing the words to the songs. It took a great deal of careful listening but still missed quite a bit. When half the story is told in song this is disappointing.
Cast put on a very lively performance. The choreography and music were great.
Not my thing! Probably great for adolescent and teenage girls.
We saw Mean Girls and unfortunately the acoustics were awful. I had to work very hard to understand the spoken dialogue and couldn’t understand 90% of the singing. My daughter had the same experience. Thankfully we just saw the movie yesterday so knew what was going on in the storyline in spite of the extremely poor audio. Everything else was great, but when the sole purpose is to experience a musical, the audio/acoustics matter the most. The $400 tickets were an extravagant splurge and I am very disappointed. I won’t be going back to this venue.
