    No Bueno

    by J. T. on 3/1/20

While I really liked the movie, I didn’t care for this. I definitely think if you are under 25, or specifically 12-20 you’ll love it. Some of the cast was much better than others. It wasn’t bad, I’m just used to being “ wow’d” on Broadway and I wasn’t.. my opinion. Had I gotten the tickets for like 30 bucks instead of full price, it might have seemed worth it.

Very Entertaining Play w/ an Amazing Cast!

by NTH on 2/25/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

It is a great play (& we have seen several). It captures the story line of the movie spot on and is funny, witty & HS mean at it's finest ;o). We were very impressed with the way they managed to visually transport you to different locations using minimal props. The cast was incredible (voices and acting) and we happened to be there for Erika Henningsen's (Cady) last performance and Tina Fey brought out flowers for her at the end of the play which pretty much was the cherry on top!

Updated version of the High School experience

by Laura from Maine on 2/22/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

An eye opening depiction of high school life, today! Well done! Great acting, dancing, and comedy. Our seats in the balcony were excellent. I was a bit embarrassed for some audience members.Grandparents and the kids that have a few years, ‘till high school

Lucy loved it and surprisingly so did her Dad!

by Lucy and her Dad on 2/22/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

The title of the review is a bit of a giveaway- Lucy aged 11 (or nearly 12 as she reminds) has seen the Movie and has been excited for 6 months since booking the show. We travelled from Scotland with the show being seen as her NY visit highlight- and it was! The Cast were truly fantastic - as was the entire show package - even her grumpy old 55 year old dad (who had been dreading it)was noted to smile, laugh and enjoy it - who’d have thunked it! 5/5

    Awesome adaptation of the movie!

by Natalie on 2/19/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

Follows the movie pretty closely - funny with a good message. I actually cried. Some parts were a little inappropriate for my 12 and 9-year-old, but they of course loved it! The songs were clever and catchy as well as vocally impressive. My favorite was “It’s Fine Until Someone Gets Hurt,” sung by Regina. But I am enjoying listening to the entire soundtrack. Highly recommend!

    Good, but not life changing!

by AliG on 2/19/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

This was an entertaining show with a great cast and some funny one-liners. I will say though that as someone who has seen a few movie-musical adaptations, this one was a bit disappointing. I was hoping that the songs would have been a bit catchier, but none of them stuck in my head afterwards. Worth seeing if you can get a reasonably priced ticket, but I wouldn't recommend paying top dollar for it!

    Awesome Day with my girl

by NJ Mom on 2/19/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

The play was better than expected. The girl who played Janis had an amazing voice as did the Cade actress. The mocktails were fun. It was a memorable day for my daughter and I.

    Mean Girls

by ChrisG on 2/19/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

My husband purchased these tickets as a gift for our daughters 18th birthday. Her best friend and my daughter had a blast, they enjoyed the storyline and of course the music was phenomenal. My only issue was how uncomfortable the seats are, it felt like we were on top of each other and for the price of each ticket a little comfort goes a long way.

    Much better than expected!

by Eli on 2/19/20August Wilson Theatre - New York

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised about this show. We were up in NY for the weekend and I gave my daughter a couple of options and she chose Mean Girls. I mean she is 13 and has never even seen the movie so had no idea what it was about. I am really glad she chose it! The cast was spectacular and the stage transitions were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed it <3
