CRAZY GOOD!!! BEST CONCERT EVER AND I SEE A LOT OF SHOWS!!!
Matt was amazing! I've loved his music for years and seeing him perform was incredible. Listening to the stories about the meaning behind the songs was great. He is fun and funny. Most importantly, he sounded amazing. My husband who was unfamiliar with his music loved it as well and is now a big fan. Josh Radin was great too.
Great show! Good venue in VIP area. Wish Josh would have played Today
By far the most amazing concert I've ever been two. Small intimate venue, got to meet both artists in person and front row seats. I could not have asked for more.
From the opening moments, using a memorizing harmony which the crowd immediately bagan singing along with, everyone was entranced. This was not the first time I'd seen a Matt Nathanson show, and certainly will not be the last. Like a fine wine, his shows continue to make leaps and bounds, grabbing every audience member, 14 - 69, an taking them on a journey through heartbreak, heart mend, and even an imaginary fantasy with a "girl in the Kinks shirt". I would recommend this show to anyone looking for great music, great story telling, great one liners, just a great overall experience. Two thumbs way up for Matt Nathanson. The opening act, Joshua Radin, could have captivated the audience on his own. The way his vocals blend with the music in perfect harmony is unmatched. With a very unique band setup, amazing lyrics, and enchanting melodies; he was worth going to see as a headliner. Overall, I was completely pleased with the show, and then some.
This concert was amazing. The venue was perfect and intimate. I got to see them in a way that I've never seen an artist before - up close and personal. They both spoke to the audience and were amazingly entertaining. I would go back again and again if they were to ever come back in this area again.
Great energy. Funny interludes. Nice lyrics and transitions.
I've seen Matt a couple times over the past year & this location was by far the best. I've seen him in Chicago as well as Napa & even though those were also smaller venue locations, the Ritz was outstanding. I'll be seeing him next month in Chicago & am hoping that sound, music, acoustics are all as they were in Tampa. What a fun fun fun night!!!
The venue was awesome. The performance was authentic and amazing! He even did a meet/greet at the end to anyone that wanted to hang around. Whom wouldn't love this guy? My husband went and also said that it was the best show he has been too!
They were both incredible and the Ritz was a great venue!
Matt always puts a an amazing show. This is my third time seeing Matt
Love his music and personality. The Ritz is such an intimate venue that it is so easy for the entertainers to engage their audiences. This is just what Matt did. The 500 or so concert goers were quiet enough that Matt was able to play acoustically. This was my first time to see him, but definitely not the last.
Great energy and story telling by the awesome singer-song writers!
Matt Nathanson not only has a beautiful voice and great music, he is also hilarious and has the best dance moves ever!!! Cant get those dance moves out of my mind;) Ready for his next show!!!!!!!!!!
Never miss a chance to see Matt Nathanson! And he always has awesome openers too
Both Joshua Radin and Matt Nathanson were great. I have seen Matt several times and he never disappoints. Great Show!
Matt never disappoints with his songs and jokes. The Fox Theater is stunning!
Matt Nathanson is such an incredible performer. Wonderful material spanning early to current songs with bravado. He's a great story teller and weaves magic into his songs.
I love that Matt mixes his older songs with the newer ones. He has an awesome way to make you feel more connected with his random banter. I could watch him perform everyday and not be bored.
If you have never been to a Matt Nathanson concert you are missing out...big time. He is an enormously talented musician and singer not to mention hysterically funny in his banter with the crowd. Run...get his new album, "Last of the Great Pretenders". You will not be disappointed. He is living in SF so was really pumped for the show in his backyard. A huge talent and a huge personality! GO!
