LOVE this man!!! go see him if he is playing near U!!
If I could see every single show I would!! Not only does Matt Nathanson have an amazing voice but the way he moves his hips, so freaking sexy!!! He plays a mix of old and new music and even threw in a David Bowie song. Best show I've seen!!
Have had the pleasure of seeing Matt before and it's always a great concert. Love the fact that all ages enjoys his music.
Matt played a long set mixing songs from the new and older albums. He brings an amazing amount of energy and humor to his concerts.
Matt Nathanson and his band always give an excellent performance. Great music, very entertaining. Matt is really funny too, which is an added bonus.
This is the 5th time I've seen Matt Nathanson in concert and he never disappoints. He is an amazing musician and a hilarious storyteller as well -- the "girl in the Kinks shirt" is a great one.
So far the first concert I have ever been and it's mkre than awesome! Both Joshua Radin and Matt Nathanson didn't fail to satisfy their fans. :)
One of the best concerts I have ever seen. Of course, we knew the music would be good because we love his songs, but the show was really fun. Matt is very connected with his audience, he doesn't take himself so seriously and he has fun with it. It also helps that he is adorable and and loves to dance and move when he plays.
What a great live performer. Not just closing his eyes and playing with the band, but interacting with the audience. Matt seemed genuinely excited to perform before the hometown audience, and it showed.
Matt and his band gave a terrific live performance. Matt was clearly having a good time and his enthusiasm for the crowd was apparent. The show was fun, the venue was great (Fox in Oakland). Hadn't seen a concert is 18 years. Really glad this was the one to break that streak, it was well worth going to.
Great energy, sound was perfect, and awesome venue. A fantastic evening where Matt kept the good times rolling with a perfect blend of of mellow "man rock", and a few harder rocking guitar jams. Great time had by all in our party of 12 ranging from age 16 to 45.
Matt Nathanson is from the SF Bay Area and if you go to concerts and festivals around here you've probably seen him. He has built a strong loyal following of fans like myself who were thrilled to see him as the headliner at the beautiful Fox Theater. While his music is decent, it is his comedic charm and banter that make his shows so enjoyable. It's surprising he opened with one of his best songs, the fairly new song "Mission Bells". He played old and new fr his fans. My friends in Denver see him at the Gothic Theater Tuesday even knowing the show is being broadcast live on AXS TV. Should be a memorable performance
LOVE IT!!! Only my second concert ever. Had an amazing time. Both Matt Nathanson and Joshua Radin were great!!!
This is the 3rd time I've seen Matt and I have to say he just gets better and better. I love seeing him in small venues because it's so much more intimate and with his comedy in between songs, so you feel like he is speaking right to you!
Matt Nathanson is AWESOME. Great performer, great songs, great personality. Fun show.
Matt Nathanson is a high energy performer! He gave it his all and then some at the Wiltern. His songs have wonderful music and brilliant lyrics. The Wiltern was a beautiful location and every seat was great. In addition to the fantastic concert, he engages the audience and makes them a part of the show - raising the energy even higher. Overall, it was a great show and I would encourage anyone to see Matt Nathanson when they get the chance. Joshua Radin was the opening act and he was great. I'd even go see him on his own. It was a GREAT night!!!!
Really? While he did perform the music basically on key I didn’t care for the new music. The new music seemed pretty superficial (for example lots of songs with Oh-Oh, he must really like songs like Sweet Escape….). However what really annoyed my wife and I was his attitude, he acted as if he was God’s gift to women and the world. My wife commented boy he really loves himself. He made strange commentary and while it was typically brief most of it appeared intended to make us part of some inside sex imagery. After a while we were just tired of hearing what basically translates to another over the top sex song. It was somewhat unpleasant and uncomfortable to watch. After we were asked to be part of a Whitney Houston I just wanna dance with somebody sing along my wife and I had had enough and we took off. I did like his performance of Car crash and would have liked to have heard Come on get higher and Faster (which I assume he performed) but not enough to make it though the Whitney sing along. If you want to have Matt Nathanson’s baby I’m sure his concerts will appeal to you, but he won’t be on our future concert list.
Matt puts on a phenomenal show, not only is his music great, but he has a hilarious personality that kept us entertained the whole show.
