About
Matt Nathanson is a folk-rock singer and songwriter from Lexington, Massachusetts. As a solo artist, Nathanson has released 13 studio albums since launching with his 1993 debut, Please. His fifth album, 2003’s Beneath These Fireworks, served as his first major label release, though his 2007 follow-up, Some Mad Hope, achieved his first mainstream chart success behind the Hot 100-charting single “Come On Get Higher,” which would later be certified triple-platinum. Nathanson would hit the Hot 100 twice more with “Faster” and the Sugarland collaboration “Run” from 2011’s Modern Love. He also reached a new career peak at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 for 2013’s Last of the Great Pretenders. In 2022, Nathanson released his 13th album, Boston Accent, capping a prolific run of three full-length releases in three years. Nathanson’s music and extensive covers catalog have appeared across film and television, including The Bachelor, One Tree Hill and the American Pie franchise.

Nathanson is a Fantastic Performer!
by TheTacoMan on 10/27/13Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5Matt Nathanson is absolutely fantastic in concert. This was my first time seeing him live and it was great that the show was in such a small venue (sold out show). He offers quite a lot of insight into each song, similar to a Storytellers thing. He's also absolutely hilarious and his interactions with the crowd was very entertaining. I will absolutely go see him again if I have the opportunity and would strongly recommend to anyone else to do the same.

Matt rocked our faces!
by EmAnne on 10/26/13Headliners Music Hall - LouisvilleRating: 4 out of 5The show was amazing! Matt and his guys played their hearts out and had us wishing we could do it all over again the next night. Joshua Radin was a hoot and sounded incredible too! We were just as excited to see him as we were to see Matt, but were very sad that the noise level over folks talking in the back of the venue were such a bother during Radin's set. The loud chatter was a complete distraction to us up in the 4th row. Radin made several references to it as well and seemed extremely irritated by it. Rightfully so.
Matt Nathanson is engaging!!
by Indychick76 on 10/26/13Headliners Music Hall - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5This was my third time seeing Matt Nathason. I love his music, the way he sings the song, song selection. But my favorite part of every show is how he engages his audience. He is funny and charming and I always can count on an evening with great music and entertainment.

Matt Nathanson with Joshua Radin
by KLU0814 on 10/23/13House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5Frist of all I love these guys. A little bit of Joshua Radin is better than non at all. He was a great complement opener for Matt. Then having the opportunity to see a full Matt Nathanson show capped the evening. Matt has the ability to draw in his audience and make everyone feel like they are the only person there. His songs are original, and a variety of fun, sexy rock and roll.
Matt Nathanson was superb

Matt Nathanson/ Joshua Radin were incredible!!!!
by HockeyChicky on 10/22/13House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5Matt's show was incredible! He was extremely high energy and told the stories behind some of his songs! I will never listen to "The Girl in the Kinks Shirt" the same way again! Lol! This is not your cookie cutter rock show! He makes sure everyone has a great time! Joshua Radin was amazing too! By far the most incredible sounding performer I'd never heard of before that night... I a huge fan of singer/ songwriters that put their all into personalizing their music and using that to connect with their audience. These two DEFINATELY delivered and complimented each other perfectly (even though they performed seperately). I highly recommend BOTH of these guys shows! I will certainly be back to see both of them again!
LOVE MATT NATHANSON!
