A mother. A daughter. 3 possible dads.
And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship, and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good show.
I enjoyed the performance so much that I am going to buy an ABBA cd!!
The actors were a class act, but we expected a better stage setup, it was the same scene one after the other, shound of had a beach scene like in the movie and a bed room setup all they did was turn the walls around one scene after the other. not worth the price !!
Singing and dancing were good. Backdrops and costumes were average (except costumes for Dancing Queen were excellent). Accoustics in the River Center are poor.
The music and costumes were amazing! The whole performance was magical.
Wonderful Show! The cast did a great job! See this soon.
I enjoyed this musical very much. The singers voices were amazing. I would see it again if given the opportunity.
I Loved Loved Loved it! I wanted to turn around and get tickets for the next performance. Great Job Cast and Crew. The only downside was that at times I couldn't hear Sophie's lyrics clearly from the mezzanine area.
I had a wonderful time watching "Mamma Mia!!". The audience was singing along with all of the songs. Then everyone was on their feet clapping and swaying to the music as the cast performed the last songs.
It was awesome!!! I saw it on Broadway and it was just as good!! It was very hard to stay in my seat. I wanted to dance in the aisles!!! BRAVO!!!
Best thing I've seen in the theatre so far...I highly recommend it.
It was AWESOME!!! I laughed almost the whole time.
The high-powered cast was wonderful. The entire production kept the audience rocking. The music was just great. The scene changes were kept to a minimum and wardrobe changes were hardly noticeable. The audience was as important as the cast to the over-all experience. The final costumes were just awe inspiring and singing along with the cast just felt like the right thing to do. The whole production was uplifting.
Music was great, although some singers were stronger than others. The Donna character was really good, although the short dark hair was off-putting after seeing the movie. My six-year-old daughter has watched the movie dozens of times, so I brought her. It was fine, although there was more sexual content than I expected, but fortunately it goes over her head still. It would have been awkward with an older child. This is a great show to see as a girls night out.
The play was wonderful. Loved the extra songs and dancing at the end. Having to climb 4 flights of stairs to balcony seats was a problem.
it was great!! I would recommend it again. My seat was up high but the three rows in front of me were empty. i was able to move down and it made huge difference. still far away and couldnt see faces but it was a great show
Far exceeded my expectations....way better than the movie
I have seen many broadway shows in my lifetime and I would rank Mama Mia in the top 10 for me. I have been am ABBA fan my whole life and this show did excellent justice to the music! I had to stop myself from singing in the audience! HIghly recommend this show ... fact is, i bought tickets the next day to see it again on Saturday night with my 9 year old son ... he now wants the ABBA Gold CD! thanks, Mike
I loved the play. We had a girls night out and this was the perfect play to watch. We loved all of the music and high energy. Hats off to the cast and crew! Great Job!
Really missed the great scenery. Talent was good though!
Was not familiar with the play prior to attending. It was a great story line, wonderful actresses and actors, loved the music. Costumes reminded me of the 70s/80s growing up. Very high energy--never a boring moment.
