A mother. A daughter. 3 possible dads.
And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship, and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good show.
Bravo!!!!! This play was great!! Alot of fun. Would see over and over again!!!!!
This show never stops! The dancing and music are top notch! If you can keep your toes from taping you doing better than me! Do not leave early, there may be a surprise waiting.
We loved the movie but also loved the play...the characters were awesome and better singers than some of the stars in the movie! The sing/dance along at the end was great, too!!
My wife and I saw Mama Mia several years ago in London and it was excellent!! We had the opportunity to see it again at the Hobby Center in Houston and once again, it was Awesome..
Amazing show. Loved every minute of it. Highly recommend for mom's and daughters and of course ABBA fans.
I have seen the film at least ten times, but this was my first stage show production. I loved it, loved it, loved it! Sometimes, however, the amplification was a little iffy. Overall, I'd go back again and again to see it.
It was good...not amongst the greats... certainly enjoyed it
Loved the movie, loved the show even better. The singing was amazing and the energy in the room was fantastic. In this day with all our problems and stress, this was just the right ticket to beat the blues.
I had always wanted to watch this musical. I had heard that the music was very good, but it surpased my expectations. I loved the songs and the dancing.
I went to this production with low expectations but went because my mom wanted to go so badly. I have a tendency to get a little antsy in musicals. I just loved this! It totally kept my attention. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because we did not really like the actress playing the bride. She was a little "too broadway" if you know what I mean. Affected or something. Anyway, it was fun fun and we LOVED the three ladies that play the mom and her two best friends.
The actors, music, all in all it was great, congratulations!
Good show, had fun. Kaye Tuckerman did a fantastic job as Donna. The other lead vocals were not as strong as I would have liked and the men seemed to be singing out of their range. The concert at the end was almost worth the price of admission alone.
Musical was fantastic! Loved the interpretation, music, cast
Family of 5, ages 18 - 53 yrs. We all loved the production. We could only find seats together on the very top. Would "Love" to see this again, and sit a lot closer. However, we loved the music. I was singing and clapping along by the end, as were many others in the audience. The energy from the cast is contagious. Made me feel very young and energetic. As we were leaving I could hear the same enthusiasm in other audience members. Thank You for a wonderful evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A fabulous performance with only minor issues (a couple of sharp or flat notes here and there) Sound was good - although it seemed sometimes to drop. Wish that when the chorus joined in with the solo singers, the solo singer's voice was not so drowned out. Overall an A+ performance!
The show was great! I first saw it in NY last year. Here are my only rants about this performance ... 1) Audio issues - both music and vocals performed by the on-stage performers seemed to muffle out on certain key notes. It was an occurring event throughout the show. 2) Screaming baby (or little kid) - some just don't have respect - and what I mean is the mother waited as long as humanly possible before excusing herself out from the balcony seats. My take is - first "waa" go. Just politely go. 3) Poor mannered patrons - two behind and one in front - the two behind kept tapping their foot almost through the play - and not to the musical numbers either - the one in front kept leaning forward which added her head into the performance onstage. Although the last two were related out of the performers control, it still broke away from the captivating
They changed i t up so much and put too much of the movie plot in it and it ruined for me. There were still parts that have been in the play but not the movie in it which were enjoyable but overall it ruined the play for me. If I wanted to see the movie, I would have watched it on Blu-Ray and saved me $80
We loved the performance! The cast was great! Loved the platform shoes & spandex outfits! ABBA rocks!
I enjoyed the production of Mamma Mia that was put on by the touring company. At first, both my daughter and I were skeptical, because the young woman who played Sophie Sheridan over-acted her part to the point of making it seem like a high school musical. After the other performers joined her on stage, however, things picked up and ran much more smoothly.
This is a truely great production. Amazing cast played to perfection. Music was outstanding.
