A mother. A daughter. 3 possible dads.
And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship, and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the father she's never known brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited decades ago.
For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good show.
Best musical I've ever seen! You will not be disappointed! Great cast with wonderful voices!
My daughter and I enjoyed Mamma Mia very much. The acting and music were great. The audience got into it many times, clapping and cheering. It was a great happy musical. I was disappointed in that there was no attempt at scenery, that was so beautiful in the actual movie. I also was very disappointed in that there was no wedding reception scene at the end. However, the last hurrah at the end did help to relieve the no wedding reception disappointment. All and all I would recommend seeing this for a wonderful girl outing and walking away feeling great!
What a cheap looking set, average to bad singers, stupid looking costumes. Just bad!
This musical never disappoints! Always an outstanding cast and superb singing.
Fantastic show, as always. Will see again and again!
The play was fabulous - the ending was incredible - so fun!!
This was one of the most fun shows I have been to in a while! High energy and lots of laughs!
The audience did not seem too into the show but that did not matter -the performers looked like they were having fun and really did a great job.
Only my 3rd time seeing it and it's just as fun as the first time! Cannot wait to see it again!
Although I've watched the movie 'Mamma Mia!', I've always wanted to see it in the theatre since it is a whole lot of different experience. This musical was great as I anticipated! I wouldn't say it was the best among the broadway musicals I've seen, but it definitely didn't let me down. I left the theatre with full of content after the show and had Abba songs stuck in my head for a while.
The play was done very well. The players were all exceptional and the music was superb. I would highly recommend Mama Mia!!
This show was fun when we first saw it years ago and this spruced up version is tighter and slicker. This time around they tried to give a bit more attention on the individual characters and plot, but no matter the music is still there and you will definitely get your body swaying to the music if not even more involved. It is difficult to explain how a show of this type can be considered miscast since cast is really just another song, but this one is a bit.
The show was the most fun event that I had experienced in awhile. All the actors are fabulous and can highly pull off the ABBA songs. Every seat is a good seat in the theater and the show is highly energetic. I would recommend this show for all ages. Was absolutely wonderful and fun!
This is the third time we have seen Mamma Mia and enjoy it every time. Great music, laughs and story line.
Overall, the show is about the very good. Everyone does their job well. However, The Name of the Game" – Sophie has something weird, some high peak is not high enough to locate in the correct place. It's very neat to use the real flash light in the last scene.
From start to finish the show was great. Talented actors that kept us entertained the whole time.
The poster outside the theater said, "YOU KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT"...and we did! Acting was fantastic! Singing and dancing was entertaining and captivating. The cast exuded so much joy, passion and energy! At the end of the musical the whole cast sings and dances. The energy filled the Cadillac Theater and audience members were on their feet singing and dancing along. What a magical feeling!
Great songs, great performance and of course the orchestra was super
The acting and voices were great. Sophie's voice a little weak but lovely tone. I felt the whole production was rushed though.
With Mama Mia, you kind of know what you're getting and that's a good thing. An evening of pure fun, lighthearted music, a bunch of talented actors and whole lots of glitter and platform shoes. It even had few brilliantly funny moments as a bonus. The boyfriend voice was mediocre though. Overall, highly recommended.
