A mother. A daughter. 3 possible dads.
And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship, and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the father she's never known brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited decades ago.
For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good show.

The musical was Great - everything from the costumes and sound was Outstanding! We totally enjoyed it -- I would love to see it again!
I'll start by saying the role of the daughter - EXCELLENT. Amazing actress, did an incredible job. Role of Donna - Not great at all. Disappointing from when we saw the show a few years back and the actress then was phenomenal. This lady was very "hard". There was no comfort or ease in her character. Donna is supposed to be independent but also fun.... this actress totally lacked her "fun" side. It totally changed the dynamic of the character and to a disappointing one. The swearing is rediculous. Although the storyline itself isnt child-friendly, it could still be fun for the whole family had the holy sh**, a**, and da** been left out - such a shame. Music - Phenomenal!!! Incredibly well done and the supporting cast, especially the 2 friends of Donna's were, in my opinion, better than Donna herself - Fun, quirky, top notch acting, loved them. Sky's character was played wonderfully as well. Oriental Theater is absolutely gorgeous, always a treat to be there. Love. Although our seats this time were terrible. I thought they would be good but they werent. I kept having to lean to the left and right to see what was going on because of the person's head blocking the middle of the stage action. It was a real shame. Sound was perfect at the oriental. Nice and loud and easy to hear. They started late.... Supposed to start at 7:30, started at 7:40 I think it was.
Simple amazing, one of the best shows I've seen. The singing and danincing by the cast was great, everyone dancing by the end.
Mama Mia was fantastic. The cast was outstanding. You'll be dancing in the aisles with everyone else and humming the tunes for days afterwards. Would highly recommend this program for pure enjoyment by all.
I have a friend who loves live performances, and especially musicals. I wanted to give him a nice Christmas gift, so settled on tickets to see Mamma Mia. I have seen it live several times previously, and it is always entertaining. This time, however, it was barely entertaining. In the first act, Sophie is difficult to understand over the music, but does well. Donna is, with the exception of some high notes, nearly impossible to hear for the entirety of the first act. This could have been an issue with the venue or with the performers - hard to tell. The second act seemed to be better (either the acoustics improved, there were more sustained notes in the second act, or we adjusted to the low volume of the singing). The men were, none of them, very good. Sam was really off during this performance. The woman behind me laughed when Donna and Sam sang SOS, with the follow-up "I thought that he was singing badly on purpose - that was terrible." I did not comment, but did cringe each time that he was about to sing afterward. Overall, we want to give gifts that people appreciate and adore. This gift was a let-down, and I felt uncomfortable for having given a gift that was sub-par.
Just an amazing performance! Kaye, the lead role who played Donna was phenominal! After the show, I believe this was planned, but a mini-ABBA concert broke out and everyone in the house rose to their feet and started singing and dancing! I can't wait to see my next musical! But when I do, I'm getting better seats. I was able to see the performers but I want to be closer.
I felt the lead was mis-cast. The blonde friend seemed like a better fit for the lead role. There were times when her voice was too soft I couldn't understand what she was saying. The daughter (sophie) was obviously inexperienced. The two friends were the best part of the show as well as the young males. The older males were decent...
What a show.. it was awesome, fun andwould highly recommend it for all ages..
While I enjoyed the music, I was disappointed in the quality of this production. I saw it previously in Chicago when it was here for a longer more permanent stay. I enjoy live orchestras, elaborate set designs, and large ensembles with excessive talent. I felt all these elements were missing in this National Touring Performing group. If you are just going for the music it's fine (as long as you don't mind the sing along to prerecorded music). Donna was excellent and had a wonderful voice, but it was often overwhelmed by the accompaniment. Just disappointed in the value for the ticket price. I have seen better productions in the suburbs at smaller venues. I will think twice before purchasing Broadway in Chicago shows again.
Not only a beautiful venue but also a wonderful time! This was the second time my mom and I have seen Momma Mia, and it was just as wonderful the second time around! A perfect musical event for a Mommy Daughter day out!!!
The casting was well prepared. I really enjoyed the orchestra. The audience was so involved. The theater was amazing and the staff was also very helpful! A great overall experience!! Thank you!!
It had me laughing and singing. I lost track of time and wanted to watch more.
Great time! Fun for a wide variety of ages, but not too young. Fun times, dancing in your seat
Great time good music good dancing and great seats. Fun and fabulous production!
I wasn't crazy about Donna or Sam...but Sophie and everyone else were the best I have seen.
The musical was magical. The music was wonderful, and we loved the addition of new songs.
Sound wasn't as good as expected and the show wasn't vibrant.
Having seen Mama Mia the first time around, then in Vegas, then on the big screen, I would say this production rates, maybe, a notch or two above what I would expect of a High School production. The 5 piece band (mostly electronic fill) sounded awful. The set design, and I use that term loosely, was something you could put together in your garage in a few hours. The lead - an Australian by birth - had a weak mean voice. Way too mean in her spoken lines. The rest of the cast was ho hum. And how funny is the section below wherein you can upload a picture. They only announced like 10 times that you can't take any photos (why would you anyway?).
Up there with the best time you'll have in the theater!
