And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!

Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship, and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the father she's never known brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited decades ago.

    Awesome play

by Bama mom on 5/15/24James M. Nederlander Theatre - Chicago

This was a great experience, singing was fantastic and I esp loved the end of the show audience participation with the dancing and singing at the end. Saw this on Broadway 15 years ago and it’s just like that.

    Pure joy

by SJ on 5/15/24James M. Nederlander Theatre - Chicago

I saw the musical in New York on Broadway many years ago, seen both movies multiple times. The music and the story never lose their magic. Our seats were pretty far back, but it didn’t matter. We were pulled into the story telling, sang along to the songs and jumped out of our seats with the entire theater at the end where we all sang and danced along. This cast was fantastic. It was a wonderful afternoon.

    a fun aftenoon

by BAH on 5/14/24James M. Nederlander Theatre - Chicago

We recently went to see Mama Mia at a matinee and had a terrific time. I especially enjoyed the way the cast takes it's curtain calls. They performed 3 more songs while taking their bows and the main characters had a costume change specifically for that . The Neaderlander Theater is truly a Chicago landmark.

    Mamma Mia

by Sandy on 5/14/24James M. Nederlander Theatre - Chicago

We loved the show. It was terrific in all ways! Our seats were not. We knew we had an obstructed view, but the entire show we had to watch through the center of the rectangular bars of the balcony's edge to see anything. We were the corner seats right behind the handicap seats on the left at the balcony. We had to scrunch down in our seats and hold our heads at awkward angles to see the stage and could never see the whole stage at the same time so if performers were in the back of the stage we couldn't see them and the performers at the front at the same time. Usually obstructed view means you can't see a small part of the stage for a small period of time. We also were blocked by people coming in and stopping right in front of us to look for their seats or to wait to be seated so there was a lot of stuff happening right in front of us before and during the show. These should be blocked off seats and should not be sold to audience members.
