Madama Butterfly Tickets

2nd row seats allowed us to see faces so well and even hear individual voices clearly. It was fun seeing the conductor up close and personal! What a joy! Every performer is blessed!

The Florentine has some amazing talent!!! The symphony and the singers went almost 3 straight hours!!! It was absolutely magical!!! Great set and very comfortable seating!! Well worth the price!!

I go to the opera performances often and make it a point to visit an opera house in every city I travel to. I have been to the Met in NYC, Zurich, St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other cities where this art is revered and put on a pedestal. I can compare this performance to other ones I have seen, and I can say this definitely stands out for its quality. I LOVED it. The singers nailed it and kept the audience captivated for the duration of the show. Well done San Diego Opera!

the opera itself was great. the venue was great. only issue was the first act was tough to hear from my seat in balcony. much better for second act so they must have fixed whatever.

I stood immediately to give an unembarrassed ovation. My eyes wet with emotion for Madame Butterfly's loss and the loss of her. All he had put her through, the long wait. I looked to my right to see one single tear glinting on it's journey down my son's face. Next to him his sister eyes wet, hands clapping. I thought wow and they are 14.

Exceptional cast, staging and music. A magnificent overall performance. Bravo!!!

The sound was not very good for the sits at the top

This was my first opera experience! I loved it! I cried!

I have seen this performance many times at the Met in New York and I could not wait to hear Un Bel Di, one of my favorite arias. Ms Lopez performance left me feeling no emotion for this very sympathetic character. I am not happy leaving this type of review, but I was so excited to see this Opera and was so disappointed. My opinion.
