  • So fun!

    by Tara K on 12/9/24Rosemont Theatre - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5

Great time! So nice to hear stories from his experience making the movie. My son loved it! I do wish it was a little earlier in the evening, there were lots of sleepy kids!

  • The best movie experience!

by Chloe on 12/8/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Home Alone is my favorite holiday movie! I had the opportunity to buy the movie tickets plus the photo opportunity. He is SOO nice and he really wants to know you. Watching this movie with others who love it just as much was very emotional. The sound track sounded CRISP and was such a different experience. I would do it again. The Q&A was fun, he centered it around children. If you have the opportunity it will be worth it. The movie with the Q&A was great enough, the meet and greet was the cherry on top. Have lots of extra money for concessions though, also I was a little sad there were no souvenirs that I could find.

  • Movie was great-Macaulay was sad

by JH on 12/8/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

What a great thing to watch this movie in a theater with others-sharing laughs, sweet moments and the applause at the end. Very nostalgic to the way going to the theater used to be! Macaulay’s portion was a disappointment. My kids (8 and 15) and I had high hopes for funny stories of what life as a kid filming the gag scenes would be like. Instead it was a pompous positioning of ‘of course I had a stunt double’, ‘you know Andy Garcia is my neighbor ‘, and other nods to the lux life of being a movie star. It was about him, not the laughter and fun he has brought the world through the Home alone series. The q&a portion of the show was peppered With an F-bomb here, many hits on his Vape (don’t smoke or vape kids) and incoherent rambling. It was sad. I don’t actually take time to write reviews often—but this missed the mark so badly. Overpriced, under delivered. Real life ‘Bad Santa’ in the making.

  • Home Alone The Screening

by John (First Time) on 12/7/24Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 1 out of 5

I wish I could take more pictures of Q&A of Macaulay Culkin and but I understand about not taking photos of the movie. I am satisfied they own photographer taking professional photos with me and Macaulay Culkin and I got 3 Photos for $100 plus M&G that was worth the money. But Q&A was burning I wish Macaulay Culkin was Autograph Poster for Sale.

  • Great experience

by Mom of 6 on 12/6/24Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

We really had a great time, but we’re a little disappointed that no one told us how to send in questions. There is a small blurb on the screen, but it did not say submit your questions here. I feel like it could’ve been much better if they would’ve answered more audience questions. McCauley Caukins was so sweet and we really liked him!

  • Nostalgic and fun!

by Jackie O on 12/6/24The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 4 out of 5

This event was fun! Watching this iconic christmas movie in a theatre where folks were interacting with the film aloud was very cool. The Q+A portion could’ve been a bit more organized - maybe done with random ticket drawings beforehand to get audience questions/participation during the show. Macaulay was such a crowd pleaser; even through his nerves, he put on a great show. You can tell he appreciates his fans!

  • worth every penny!

by Sandra on 12/5/24Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

It was such an amazing and heart warming night to see this tour. First watching the movie in the theatre with a full audience made it super special and enjoyable. Then watching Macaulay on stage do his interview and discussion was fascinating. And splurging on the meet and greet was worth every penny. It was an incredible experience overall!

  • Nostalgic night indeed!

by Court on 12/3/24Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 4 out of 5

The evening was a resounding success for my 8-year-old child. The captivating stories, exclusive behind-the-scenes insights, and Macaulay's engaging interaction with the audience created a palpable sense of unity and camaraderie among attendees who shared an appreciation for the timeless classic, Home Alone. The ONLY concern I have is that the meet and greet tickets were priced at $200 per person in addition to the cost of the seats, which I found to be somewhat excessive. While I would have been willing to pay that amount for the adult tickets, I was hesitant to do so for my child as well.

  • Amazing

by Shelly and Sean on 12/3/24Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great idea! To show HOME ALONE (my 25 yr old son never saw it on the big screen!) and then have McCauley himself take questions and then play a game with the audience was such a thrill! He mentioned the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. He kept saying how he has never done something like this. We go to Fanexpo and ComicCons and meet celebrities and this is right up there with that experience. I hope he comes back or even does the Fanexpo circuit in the future! Thank you again!

  • Great time

by Daniel v on 12/3/24Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

We first watched the home alone. It was nice watching it with others as it’s an old movie. The theatre was beautiful. We got the vip and got to meet Macaulay. He was very nice and spend some time talking with us. Amazing night. Thanks again

  • Meeting "Kevin"from Home Alone was Christmas at its BEST!

by Kyle on 12/3/24Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

The event was great, started right on time. Everyone enjoyed the movie and the Q & A afterwards. Macauley was genuinely excited to be there and so appreciative of everyone that came out. I met him after the screening and Q & A of the movie with my special needs son. My son is 6 and loves the movie, the characters, the music, everything about it. His room is Home Alone themed and he is obsessed. My son brought his Home Alone dolls to show "Kevin". Macauley couldn't have been nicer, he was bent down the entire time and very interactive with my son. He was kind and took his time with my son. This was a great experience especially for the first time my son met one of his heroes. Thank you so much Macauley for making it a memorable experience not only for my son but for me as well! I highly recommend meeting Macauley and going to one of the Home Alone screenings especially since it is the best Christmas movie of all-time!

  • Fun but a lot of room for improvement

by MG on 12/3/24Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 2 out of 5

The concept for this event was really fun, but the execution was bad. Firstly, the audio on the film did not work for the first 15 minutes, so all of the characters sounded mumbled (the venue did not stop the film to address these technical challenges). Then, once the volume was fixed, it was so loud that some people left. It was finally normalized about 25 minutes into the film. The Q&A had interesting moments, but there was no continuity or flow to the discussion. Macaulay Culkin seemed extremely nervous, and repeated himself a lot during the Q&A. A lot of the answers rambled and didn't really answer the question. We were hoping the host would bring the discussion back on the rails, but that never happened. Again, a decent amount of people left during this part of the event. Lastly, the screen used for the film displayed the marketing poster for the event, which was completely useless during the Q&A portion. It should have been a camera on Macaulay during the discussion, because based on where you're sitting, it was hard to see him and the host. Overall, we're glad we went, but we wouldn't recommend this event.
