Mac Demarco Concert Schedule and Tour
From the lo-fi haze of his early recordings to the languid shimmer of his newer work, Mac Demarco has firmly established himself as slacker rock's modern posterboy. Cigarette perilously dangling from his lips, Demarco cuts an insouciant figure on stage, treating fans at his live shows to his signature drawl and vintage guitar tones. Whether he's apologizing to his mom for "Freaking Out The Neighborhood" or advising listeners to "Go Easy," Demarco is sure to captivate with his seedy charm and world-weary wit on his upcoming concert tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in British Columbia in 1990, Mac Demarco began playing music at age 14, involving himself in various bands while attending high school. In 2009 he began releasing music as Makeout Videotape, performing in concert venues around Vancouver and building a small but loyal following with his lewd sense of humor and off-color live shows. In 2011 he moved to Montreal to begin working on what would ultimately become his debut release as Mac Demarco, 2012's Rock and Roll Night Club. The self-produced album, recorded at home on a four-track tape recorder, was a hit with fans and critics alike, attracting the attention of Brooklyn-based independent label Captured Tracks. His sophomore album, 2, was released on the label in 2012, landing on numerous year-end lists and further contributing to his growing cult fame. In 2014, he released his third album Salad Days to universal acclaim, kicking off a 36-date world tour that will treat fans in North America, South America, and Europe to his already-legendary live show events.

I did not enjoy seeing Mac Demarco in the arena-style setting. The setting was distracting, loud and full of flashlights. I loathed the 2 opening bands and was shocked that they were the openers. I thought Mac and band were fantastic. I thought the entourage on stage (the VIP ticket holders, I think) was obnoxious and distracting as well. I walked away feeling disappointed overall.
First time seeing Mac and it was a phenomenal show. Second time at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, it’s a nice open venue.
The show started out chill and than the Garden started playing and the floor changed into a huge moshpit, it was dope. Than they left and Mac and his crew started playing and it called down until he played a classic and turned the floor into a wave like moshpit. Mac’s a great showman and his crew are funny enjoyable people. 10/10 I can’t wait until you’re in the bay again Mac ♥️
The openers were not very good, especially the second band the Garden. The cigarette smoke was unbearable until Mac came on. He’s an incredible showman and is so talented. I was so excited to see him for the 2nd time and it was all worth it once he did. I would see Mac a million more times if I could!

The garden was awesome and Mac demarco was awesome
Honestly, this was my 3rd and FAVORITE time seeing Mac DeMarco. I was with the love of my life, in an AMAZING venue with awesome people around us! He never fails to impress, and this experience was definitely no different! Thank you to the Bill Graham Auditorium for hosting such a rad show!
I knew that parking was going to be hectic but I wasn’t aware just how awful it was. Took us about 40 minutes to find parking. Please suggest 24hr parking lots near the venue next time. Also, the seat situation was confusing. I wasn’t sure if there was assigned seating or not because the website said general admission but my ticket had a row number on it. Otherwise fine concert. Security was nice. Great venue.

I drove a gross distance to see Mac in Philly, and a gross distance back in the same day. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a waste of time. I'd seen him before, and I didn't want to see the same show twice. Let me tell you, it was the single best concert I've EVER seen. The poor guy was sick as a dog, but put on a great show! So much crowd interaction, "funny covers", and of course original music. I left the venue wanting to go back and do it again the next day. Like a deadhead, but for mac demarco. A machead? Anyway, go see this guy. No regrets. Also the mann center was amazing, a very chill atmosphere.
Mac demarco is my personal hero. Second time seeing him perform at the Mann, fifth time seeing him overall, and he did not disappoint. ❤️❤️
Mac Demarco puts on an amazing show, he's such a character! The venue was also incredible, I loved seeing the Philly skyline! I loved the open area, and basically the whole place in general. Will definitely recommend the Mann Center and Mac Demarco to everyone I know!!!
The show disintegrated as it went along. The end was especially embarrassing. Last time I saw Mac it fell apart at the end but this time it took 2 songs.

I had the most wonderful experience seeing Mac DeMarco and all the other bands.
The venue was beautiful and the show itself was phenomenal. The show felt like it was a roller coaster of emotions. We danced, we cried, we laughed, and we even moshed! All these things put together and shaken up in a bottle served the perfect drink and all I have left to say is this show was freaking awesome!
Mac is quite the preformer and really knows how to get the crowd going! Mac has a groovy vibe that puts just about everyone in a good mood. He stripped down to his boxers and crowd surfed his way around the entire audience. After Mac finished his guitarist took over and started playing some hard rock. This got the crowd moshing and there was just so much energy, it was amazing.
The Venue was big and spacious. Two story floors in case no one wants to be crushed in the bottom floor. Mac Demarco Performed amazing btw
The best of the best I so enjoyed this and I will never forget it.
