    Both bands totally rocked.

by weersench on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

First off,Ironstone Vinyards is one of the most amazing venues that my Husband and I have eve been too. Los Lonley Boy's did an amazing job, they're enegy and passion was incredible and well worth a kick off for Lynyrd Skynyrd. Skynyrd ,was even more than we tought they may be due to the losses they had this last year. the new keyboard player has an amazing talent and is a very worthy replacement. The lenght of the show was outstanding as were all the energy and acoustics they emitted. The last time we saw Skynyrd was about 5 years ago at Mandaly Bay on the Beach in Vegas and though that was an incredible show, This one beat it hands down. Thankyou nfor such a wonderful time.

    Great Concert under the stars!

by Talent on 9/21/09Sandia Casino Amphitheater - Albuquerque

Except for the song Freebird, everyone seemed right on and it sounded great. Something was a little out of whack with Freebird.

    Skynrd/Los Lonely Boys Rocked

by motokat on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Los Lonely Boys" the Garza Brothers" are Awesome...Tex/Mex meets Stevie Ray while channeling some Hendrix. A longer set was needed, hearing their version of I'm A Man was amazing. Skynrd as always ROCKS THE HOUSE...again a longer set would have been good instead of a mid-set medley.

    What a GREAT show!!!

by Debberz on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Los Lonely Boys were great. Then Lynyrd Skynyrd came out and they rocked the house! Everybody loves Lynyrd Skynyrd, they have been around for so long! For me the best part was everytime they played a song it took me back to a different place and time in my life. I'm sure many people felt the same experience. It was GREAT!

    LS God + Guns

by CobraJet on 9/21/09Sandia Casino Amphitheater - Albuquerque

A little loud. If you did not know the words already, it was a bit hard to make them out. Great performance, exciting band. Most everyone there probably knew the words to 70+ percent of the songs, so we all sang along! Great tribute to the service men over the decades! Lots of great honor to God. I did not hear any honor to guns though.

Lynyrd left something to be desired

by LovinMyLife on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Los Lonely Boys were awesome. Sound and songs were crisp and clear. Harmonies perfect as always. Then came Lynyrd Skynyrd. Sound seemed muddy and off for the whole show. Lead singer's voice was gravelly and unclear. If I didn't already know the words to the hits, I wouldn't have had a clue what they were singing about. Perhaps it's time to retire the band... or maybe it was just a poor job by the sound man. Maybe HE needs to be retired. Venue was lovely. Parking and exiting the lot were kind of a joke, but can't see how that could be fixed since the winery is on a windy one lane road.

The guitar solos were great, but concet too short

by Jbet on 9/21/09Sandia Casino Amphitheater - Albuquerque

The sound was good, the crowd was enthusiastic, but at 9:17 they were done. They started at 8:05 and this seemed short. Yes they came out at did Free Bird, but we were walking to the car by 9:32. I heard others talking about it as well. I loved to see the 4 guitarists play together that was the best part. The piano solos were wonderful and the graphics taking you down memory lane were fun. Just needed 25 more minutes!! I felt jipped. Even my son who is 14 and has a short attention span thought it was short.

    Skynard and Los Lonely Boys

by vichenry on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Concerts at Ironstone are always a great event. I did think that the sound system was not up to its usual quality. The Los Lonely Boys at times seemed a bit fuzzy. Still a great concert and a solid venue.

The dinner and show were both AWSOME...My husband and I had front row tickets seats 4 & 5!!! It was great to hear and see such A great band so close and got some great pictures!! I think my only dissapointment was that we paid good hard workin money for those tickets and no interaction from them not A hand slap or nothing....so other than that it was great!!!

    Skynyrd was great!!

by Clairnibbles on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

The Ironstone Vineyard was beautiful. Trees surrounding stage and great lighting. Skynyrd put on a fantastic show, as did Los Lonely Boy's. I was so close I caught a guitar pick from both acts.

by toothdeb on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

LS was terrific and LOUD--just the way I like my rock n roll! Loved Sweet Home Alabama--takes this old gal back to her younger yrs. Didn't know too much about Los Lonely boys but was absolutely blown away by them. They gave a terrific show. I'd see them again

    Too Short

by imzadi3358 on 9/21/09Sandia Casino Amphitheater - Albuquerque

The show was great, except it was too short. They played for maybe 1.5 hours. That seemed to be a little to short.

Not what they used to be

by LesLodi on 9/21/09Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Definitely not the original band. Their new songs pretty much stopped the crowd as they took a restroom break. Old stuff was good. Encore of Freebird was good, but wished they would have played the long version. Overall, they just seemed tired and the show was short. I drove from Lodi and would have loved to hear that song.

Band great--sound quality not so good

by JoesMom6 on 9/21/09Sandia Casino Amphitheater - Albuquerque

Loved everything about the venue---the location, weather, etc were fantastic....Band was great put on a good show....but, the sound quality was really poor. I don't know whether it was band's equip or venue's equip but bass was very distorted and made hearing any details very bad....took my 13 yr old son to the concert (one of his fav bands) and he liked it, but also commented about poor sound quality
