About

Luke Combs is a country artist from Asheville, North Carolina. The singer-songwriter released his debut album, This One’s for You, in 2017. His sophomore studio set, What You See Is What You Get, followed in 2019, becoming his first LP to top the Billboard 200. That same year, Combs was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards — his first of seven nominations to date. Combs’ third and fourth albums, Growin’ Up (2022) and Gettin’ Old (2023), were recorded simultaneously and serve as companion projects. For the latter, Combs included a cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.” His countrified take on the 1988 hit single became a bonafide crossover success for the star, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and bringing about a duet with the folk singer at the 2024 Grammy Awards. In 2024, Combs will embark on his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour in support of the dual albums.

    Luke Combs was on fire!

by Colleen on 5/18/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

Luke was phenomenal, had the crowd in the palm of his hand. The stadium on the other hand, I will never attend another event there again. We waited 2 hours in traffic just to park and it was 80 bucks for parking at the gate - absolute GREED. Missed two of the openers and made our way to metal plank benches. Got rained on for 3 hours (which isn't anyone's fault but just added to the unpleasant circumstances). Great performance by Jordan Davis and again Luke really does put on a fantastic show. We got out of the stadium pretty swiftly but waited yet another 2 HOURS in traffic to leave. You win some you lose some.

    Awesome

by MrC on 5/17/24Alamodome - San Antonio

One of the best concerts I’ve been to. I don’t know how he can sing at that level for two hours. Definitely a show I would go to again.

    Update

by Phil on 5/17/24Alamodome - San Antonio

I’ve been to quite a few concerts. Alamodome was by far the dirtiest and very outdated (Gate entry, concession stand, Stage, TV Screen, SEATING) compared to what the outside looks like. San Antonio is a GROWING city and a place were it attracts tourists and can’t compare to Houston NRG or Arlington AT&T Stadium doesn’t met the requirements by half of this Nicer proud TEXAS STADIUMS!

    Do Better

by Phil on 5/17/24Alamodome - San Antonio

Luke Combs was AMAZING. But the best Let DOWN was not being able to SIT down to enjoy the concert because everyone in the row in front & (surrounding area) of us were standing up the WHOLE TIME. You basically pay for a Seat you don’t really sit on.

    Amazing

by CrysG on 5/16/24Alamodome - San Antonio

Such a great show! Was not disappointed! The venue could have been a little cooler but with 40,000 people it’s bound to happen! I loved how we could vote for a song before a show!
