About

Undoubtedly one of the most beloved and successful international artists of today, Mexican performer Luis Miguel has been thrilling fans since 1990 with his exceptional live performances and top selling albums. He made musical history by being the only Latin American performer to have two platinum albums in the US (Romance and Segundo Romance)--both comprised of beautifully performed, sentimental South American love songs. Miguel is also the winner of three GRAMMY Awards and has, to date, 34 platinum records throughout South and Central America.

    A high expectation Fan

by louie57 on 1/30/11VIEJAS ARENA AT AZTEC BOWL SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY - San Diego

After going to his concerts many times, I think this particular one, wasn't what I have experienced before, and the tickets were very expensive., the quality wasn't the same as previous concerts, he didn't sing with the mariachi, which I think is a must in his concerts.

Fantastic show by Luis Miguel as always!

by Juliejam on 1/29/11VIEJAS ARENA AT AZTEC BOWL SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY - San Diego

I've been listening to Luis Miguel for about 15 years, and as someone whose first language is not Spanish, I've seen him live too many times to count. And it's worth it every time. No one sings like Luis. He's an artist in every sense of the word. His voice sounds just as strong at the end of each concert as it does at the beginning. The concert in San Diego was no exception. Luis was full of energy and really enjoyed singing for his public. That voice! That face! :-) My only "complaint" (for lack of a better word) is that I would like to see him sing some different songs. With a career as long as Luis' and a large repertory, it would be nice if he would mix it up a bit more. But, he could sing the alphabet and it would be beautiful. hehehe

    Such a beautiful, expressive voice...

by MardiR on 1/21/11HP Pavilion - San Jose

I first heard Luis' voice on my honeymoon during a sunset cruise along the coast of Puerto Vallarta . . . truly a memorable and perfect moment. I am a professional singer & teacher, so I'm well acquainted with the quality, nuances, energy and experience that make a singer great. From recordings and video I have enjoyed, he's the real deal - a beautiful voice that is expressive, resonant, and moving, with a powerful stage presence and likeable persona. I've not been able to coordinate my schedule with his tour dates . . . but JACKPOT! in San Jose this time. I am very much looking forward to this concert.

    The GOAT

by Rawbert on 12/6/10Universal/Gibson Amphitheatre - Hollywood

For those who don't know GOAT = Greatest Of All Time. I've seen him in concert 3 times now Jan 29th at the Gibson will be the 4th time I witness greatness. He is without a doubt one of the greatest voices ever. I'm talking about great voices like Aretha, Perry, Sinatra, Elvis and Otis. Luis Miguel is right up there. He sounds in concert just like his records do. I've been a life long fan and will remain one until the end of time. He has a great music line up and is amazing overall. Long live "El Sol" Luis Miguel.

by islandbecky on 10/26/10Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Was fortunate enough to see LM for all four concerts in LV and he was fabulous all four nights! Have been going to his concerts for over 10 years and cannot get enough of his talent live and onstage. What an awesome performer, so much talent to share with everyone who love and adore him! If you are not an LM fan, you will be after seeing him perform live. Absolutely the Best. Can't wait for next time.

    High class singer!

by aspnet on 10/3/10Caesar's Palace - Las Vegas

Spanish [and English] are not my native languages, but Luis Miguel's performance can overcome language barriers. I follow this amasing singer for more then 15 years and all his performances are unforgettable - great voice, great entertainer. He is classy and his song list is beautiful. His orchestra, the lighting are fabulous, however I tend to focus my attention on his voice. I was disappointed only with the crowd - loud and unconsidered, too many drinks before and during the concert. Luis Miguel deserves a better audience.

    Luis Miguel keeps getting better

by Juliejam on 9/24/10The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

What can I say! As someone whose first language is not Spanish, I have been attending Luis Miguel's concerts for about 14 years. He is the best performer of our time, without a doubt. NO ONE sings like him. He sounds better live than on a CD, which says a lot, considering many "artists" of today have to be heavly produced just to sound decent on a recording. I attended three out of the four recent concerts at Caesars, and the heart and care he puts into his live performance are so soulful; you can really feel what he's singing. That voice, so smooth and powerful. I don't think I've ever heard the man sing a sour note. His tickets are a bit pricey, but they are more than worth it. He gives it his all, and seduces his public with such suave style.

by fulge on 9/22/10The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

He put on a spectacular show. He really enjoyed himself as he sang ballads, and his classic hits. I have seen him perform many times but this was his best by far. What a treat!

    Luis Miguel was fabulous

by Auntiecyn on 9/22/10The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

It was an evening of latin music, old and new, but with a twist. Not only wonderful musicians, but a Mariachi Band and clips and vocals shared with Frank Sinatra! Even the Gringos enjoyed this concert! Luis Miguel gets better with age!

    Contradictory

by bebitaroo on 9/22/10The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Luis Miguel's voice was unbelieveable! His is an incredible performer. HOWEVER, I felt his performance would have been unmatched if he had concentrated more on the audience and less on the sound system. He kept going to the side to give signals to the sound man (or whomever) because he felt the sound wasn't loud enough. I think his earpiece was defective because the sound was loud enough. His actions distracted from his performance and I, as well as others, felt he had more rapport with the sound man than with the audience. As much as I liked his performance, I am not sure I would pay what I did to see him again.

    Luis Miguel - VEgas concerts

by Lulu67 on 9/22/10The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Simple stunning, the stage, lights, sound but most importantly his voice. Luis Miguel is very talented and draws the crowd to engage in all his songs. He had no need to change his style his is a classy, elegant and not to mentioned handsome singer. Mexicans should feel proud just like I do to have someone like him celebrate MExican Independence Day in VEgas every year..... Love it.... Especially the new songs I see that the new CD will be a hit.....Can't expect anything less from him.....
