About

Undoubtedly one of the most beloved and successful international artists of today, Mexican performer Luis Miguel has been thrilling fans since 1990 with his exceptional live performances and top selling albums. He made musical history by being the only Latin American performer to have two platinum albums in the US (Romance and Segundo Romance)--both comprised of beautifully performed, sentimental South American love songs. Luis Miguel Concert 5/19/2011

    by Yami017 on 5/23/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Unfortunatly, I will have to say that even though I am a Luis Miguel fan and have been to almost all his miami concerts, this was the worst overall concert i have attended to. I had my tickets to his May 19th performance. First of all the concert was to start at 8:00pm and didn't start till like 9:15, second, he barely sang baladas, they were mostly old songs and even sand a Frank Sinatra song, and last but not least we were already in our car by 10:30, meaning he didn't even sing 1Hr 30 minutes. I am very extreemly disappointed, and don't even think I will ever spend $315.00 on two tickes to his concert. And another thing I was disappointed about was that i had friends that went to his May 21st concert and say it was owesome, started on time, sang baladas and evrything a concert should be, when i left that night evryone was saying how horrible the concert was, there were alot of people disppointed. What a shame he really has neen my idol since i was little

    Luis Miguel concert was lacking

by DisappntedFan on 5/23/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I went to his last concert in Miami about 3 years ago, and it was like night and day!!! This concert he was friendlier, but the songs lacked. I was expecting the mariachi and more songs from any of the Romances. Too many new songs and way too old as well. He also looked like a Lumpa Lumpa!. Way too orange from the tanning bed.

I have been a faithful fan for years but this year's perfomance was not what I expected, Luis Miguel looked tired, didn't perform for the public, we left very dissapointed...won't waste my money on him again.

    Luis Miguel was disappointing

by elnicademiami on 5/22/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

the concert started one hour late, the band was good and Luis Miguel sounded good, the concert was too short (90 minutes minus 4 or 5 breaks so he really only sang 80 min, the production value was average... basically a bunch of bright lights that only real purpose was to kill cameras and camcorders, the worst part was the set list, i only knew the songs of the first 30 min, he didn't sing any boleros or rancheros hits, i guess the last 60 min were songs from his latest album. last thing i didn't like was there was no built up to the last song, most people didn't even know it was the last song until he said goodbye. this concert was expensive and not worth the money.

    Not his best!

    by JVVN17 on 5/22/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

He is an amazing singer! His attitude towards the audience was great, not his usual. He was very charismatic and seemed happy. However, disappointed that he did not sing any of the "Romances" songs. Also, I was hoping to hear him sing more from his new record. Overall, he was awesome lie always, cannot wait till his next concert.

    Didnt like luis miguel concert

by Jeziel on 5/22/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I didn't like the concert at all, he didn't sing his hits, I was expecting a few of his boleros but he until sang pop music, not his style at all. Also the concert started an hour late, totally unacceptable.

Luis Miguel was good but too short

by JoanPaz on 5/22/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

It was good but short. It was suppose to start at 8 and he actually came out at 9, and even counting the change of cloth and the three times that he try to close the show, it ended by 10:20 we were waiting for him more time than what he actually perform. He has an excellent voice and a good show but it was not enough.

    Worse concert ever!!!!!!

    by Geni123 on 5/22/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I didn't like it. That guy does not sing like before. He changed the rythm of the songs and the public was the one singing most of the time, I feel like I wasted my money :(

by Ppgdennys on 5/22/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Too many songs, nobody knows. Concert started at 9:00 one hour later. Finished a 10:15, and he returned after 5 mins., to sing 2 more unknown songs.

Fat Elvis reborn as Luis Miguel

    by 305Lifer on 5/22/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

An hour late to begin the performance and then sings for 63 minutes! Luis Miguel USED to be a phenomenal performer, but he has grown old and ponderous. He set was weak, the songlist pure pop-junk. Even the audience had a hard time getting excited. The voice remains strong but the effort is weak. This was the last time we will attend his performances.
