    Speachless!

    by QbanPete68 on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I've been wanting to see him for over a decade and keep missing his concert. By the time I find out he's coming the tickets went on sale weeks ago. Added him to my Ticketmaster Queue and stalked them online at work. I got killer floor seats and went for the prepaid parking as well. Parking wasn't cheap but I'm glad I did it, I parked right in the arena! He gave the most amazing performance I've ever seen. No lip-synching needed for this one! hah He looked amazing, great energy & did a mix of old classic as well as new ones. The lighting and stage were both amazing. It was worth every penny. I went solo and had a BLAST! The girl that sat next to me, Laurena, flew in overnight from Houston just to see his show. She'd seen him in concert several times. On the other side a couple who drove 4 hours and had seen his numerous times in numerous countries as welll. I felt like SUCH an novice fan! After seeing him in concert i can see why!

    Save Your Money

by nomasLM on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I have seen LM in concert at least five times so i know what to expect in terms of a performance by a self-loving singer. This time was different. There was no interaction between him and the crowd. Our entire section never got up. Why does he now need a teleprompter? Is he forgetting the lyrics? Why does he need the flat screen tvs facing him? Can he not sing more than a little past one hour? When you pay $150 for a concernt, should it at least last as long as a movie? Save your money and listen to his CD or buy his DVD. You will enjoy it more.

    All about money

by Docluis on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I have seen him three times in past fifteen years. First we lost the full orchestra then we lost him singing all the songs by having the public singing while he takes a break but to top it now he starts one hour later than before and ends at same time.

    Luis Miguel started too late

by Marespana on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

The concert was supposed to start at 8:00 but it started at 9:05 p.m. Then he sang for one hour and thirty minutes until 10:35. Luis Miguel sang too many uptempo songs, and sang less of the slow songs which are my favorite. I give the concert 3 stars because he started late and because he sang just a few of the slow songs. But the quality of his singing was excellent.

    Horrible.

    by bryan3 on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

This concert was terrible, he didn't even want to sing the songs the way he used to sing them. I was not happy at all, I really did not enjoy the concert.

The sound was not what we are used to in Luis Miguel's concerts. It was deficient in comparison to prior ones. This concert was missing an esential part of the Luis Miguel music, the Mariachis. Every one of his concerts should always have part of Mexico en la Piel.

    A total dissappointment

by lilyesther on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Lack of respect for the public, he started the show 1 hour late. Music was extremelyyyyyyyyyy loud. So loud that it looked like he was in competition with the orchesta to see who sound louder, sounding louder does not mean singing nicely. the choice of the music that he played ? I think he was promoting a new disk ! People were leaving in the middle of the show. He put the public to sing to many times, I go to a concert to hear a singer sing and I like to sing a little big with him but we pay him to sing !! Nothing of the music that made him famous ???? I went to his last concert about 2 years ago, "That was a concert" I have gone to several of his concerts (7) and this concert was a total dissappointment ! I think he needs to know. The people in Puerto Rico were also very dissappointed, he still has an opportunity to change the style in the remaining time of the tour

    Luis Miguel NOT WORTH IT

by Anonymous on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I was very disappointed that after spending $278.00 on tickets that he did not sing any of his old songs which made him who he is today. after speaking with people after the concert they all felt the same. As a suggestion i think you should preview some of the music or what the concert is on. i.e new cd with new music, return to greatest hits etc. I went on his first day and i had friends going the following day. After my reviews to them they called AMEX to get there money back. I go to many concert and i have to say this is the worse one and SOOO disappointed with it.

    Hoping for more

by Whitefield on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I've been a Luis Miguel fan since he started his career as a young boy however this was the first time I had the opportunity of attending one of his concerts. Even though he is still a very handsome man and his addressing to the public was elegant and courteous, I believe the selection of songs was not the best. Not only it was a very short show but I was hoping for more boleros. This genre was relaunched by Luis Miguel and made him the star he is today attracting youngsters and their parents at the same time. I was so bummed after the concert that I had to come home to listen to his hits on youtube. Also, I found the screens to be too small. I would have appreciated more close ups. He didn't get not even one.

    Way too short!

by Yidaf on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

He was amazing however was disappointed that the concert started over an hour late and only lasted 1 hour & 20 minutes. Don't feel like I got my money's worth. Was waiting for more of his classic older song. He did this bit with Frank Sinatra on the screen. It was pretty awkward.

Luis was great as usual but needs a reboot

    by Quadman85 on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Luis could benefit from a rethink of his live shows. Luis doesn't need anyone to tell him how to sing (he is the greatest) but the staging, pacing and set design cry out for fresh ideas. I'm not talking about a show with semi-naked dancing girls, special effects and pyrotechnics, but rather hiring a world class director to make the show more co-cohesive. Two specific suggestions - 1> Why not do one or two songs that we have never heard from Luis before? Either unreleased tracks, a re-imagined version of a Latin classic or a completely new song. 2> Do a medley of songs associated w/ Luis, but with a twist. Why not a tribute to Armando Manzanero? He could do many of the songs that he's already recorded that were written by Manzanero and maybe do "Esta Tarde Vi LLover" as well. Wouldn't it be doubly great if Armando Manzanero came out onstage and Luis joined him at the piano for the medley.? Just the two of them. A truly special, intimate musical moment. That's my 2 cents, except for one more thing. BRING BACK THE MARIACHIS! ARRIBA!

    Luis Miguel concert TOO SHORT!

    by Rixter55 on 5/21/11AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Good performance BUT it was the SHORTEST concert I have ever been to. On top of that he started more than one hour late. NEVER AGAIN! This is called disrespect for his fans. He got my money this time but he want get it again! I know He is getting old but he needs to take a break and come back for the second half.
