Lorie grew up in Reno, Nevada and was born with “perfect pitch.” She has been playing the piano since age 5 and as a child won many Statewide competitions. Classically trained, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a BA in Music, Piano Performance. In 1986, she married Tim Line, moved to Minneapolis and landed the perfect job, serenading shoppers at the piano for Dayton’s. It was from here that Midwestern fans took notice of her musical talent and style and her career took off. Since then, she has recorded 44 CDs and has published 39 books of music. She has sold 6 million albums and has toured the United States for 24 years, performing on over 2000 stages. Lorie has never taken one business course, but may own one of the largest independent labels in the world.

I normally don't like to go to concerts because of the poor seating conditions, and once in a while the person who likes to kick your seat repeatedly, but this concert kept everyone alive! Lorie is coming back next year and I would definitely go see her again.
This year's show was nice but I must say I expected more from her 25th anniversary show. This has been my third year in a row and honestly, it's getting a little too predictable...the music is wonderful and I find myself wishing she would just play and cut out some of the talking... i can almost recite it all with Lorie. We all loved the clothes, the trombone player (one of my daughters plays too), and the beautiful arrangements. This years featured vocalist was wonderful!!! I may not go next year or at least if I do, I'll wait to buy my ticket at the door.
Boring, fell asleep. Same as last show. Would not recommend.
She does a fabulous job. Great seats. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves.
Brought my mother and sister-in-law for the first time. They loved the show and said they'd go back again. Got us in the Christmas spirit. The male singer was breath taking.
We've gone to the Lorie Line Christmas Extravaganza for the past 10 years and every year is such a treat! Her 25th Anniversary show did not disappoint!
first half the sound was so loud you could not hear the piano. first time i have ever used ear plugs! no one we talked to could understand the silly costume's the members of the fab 5 were required to wear. they made no sense. put them in a tux and not the goofy attire. second have was better you could hear the piano and i could remove my ear plugs. would not attend that type of event at the verizon center again. too much money for horrible sound system and or engineer.
Show was awesome as always. This was my first time seeing the Fab Five and really enjoyed it. And of course Mr. Line is funny as ever. Hope to see show again next year.
Lorie Line was amazing as always! Loved, loved, loved the new vocal...Cody! The Fab 5 were fabulous...again! I don't know how they keep topping their show year after year! It has become our family tradition and we look forward to introducing our first grandson to the magic of Lorie Line in 2015! Thank you so much for all you do Lorie...and for all you have done!
It was a really great show - and stuck to the real meaning of Christmas!
The size of the venue was very good. All of the seats were good for visual but the leg room was less than adequate. It has been quite a while since I saw Ms. Line in concert so I was quite happy to have the opportunity to see her once again. I did not realize that the audience would be full of bell ringers. There was a whole row of them behind me and it was distracting to say the least and at times down right annoying. The back up band (Fab 5) were exceptionally good. What a talented group!
Lorie is such an inspiring pianist. And so are the 5 musicians surrounding her along with the unforgettable baritone (the new Robert Robinson with all due respect to Robert Robinson - he is phenomenal). Her current show is by far my favorite, it is authentic, and highlights the music and the talent of the musicians. I loved all of the musicians - and their solos. I loved your new baritone! This was the perfect concert for me, someone who appreciates the music more than 'the show.' I will be purchasing her new album, you can feel the work (heart) Lorie and Tim have put into these new arrangements. Frozen is a great surprise!
Excellant!! Very much enjoyed every minute, including Santa and the 12 Days of Christmas!
It was a fantastic concert. I have seen Lori Line before and it gets better every time. The Fab Five was great. The baritone singer was out of this world. I am so glad that Lori choose a baritone instead of tenor or saprano.
Too many songs with handheld bells ringing. I preferred previous shows where there were only 2 or 3. With bells ringing right behind me in my ear almost all night, it was a little annoying. I didn't even ring my bells....it was too much. I would recommend this concert, but would inform them of all the bell ringing.
We took my 84 year old Mother for our Girls Holiday Event. This was her favorite and wants to return next year!! Beautiful, Beautiful music!!! Thank you
Excellent. Loved Cory. Lorie's costumes are wonderful
I gave my parents tickets to the Lorie Line concert for Christmas. My mom just started chemo treatments at the beginning of December and so it was the perfect way to start the holiday season with them... No food to eat, just music to feed the soul. You might think that piano music during the holiday season all sounds the same. This is simply not the case. I loved the introduction of the "Fab Five", Lorie's five-piece accompaniment band. It was also fun to hear a little history about Lorie and Tim Line throughout the show. The concert was unique, engaging and a highlight of my Christmas this year.
Excellent excellent excellent! First time attending and will definitely be back again next year! Superb pianist along with the other band players this show was nothing less than a top-notch vegas show.
