What do Local Natives sound like?
If you distilled California into soundwaves and vibrations, it might resemble the sonic and spiritual interplay of the Los Angeles quintet--Taylor Rice [vocals, guitar], Kelcey Ayer [vocals, keys, percussion, guitar], Ryan Hahn [guitar, keys, mandolin, vocals], Matt Frazier [drums], and Nik Ewing [bass, keys, vocals].
Hills and valleys of six-string bliss, a coastal spray of neon keyboards, and sundrenched melodies comprise a growing catalog of entrancing and engaging anthems by the band. Based in Los Angeles, the group progressed their sound over the course of three full-length albums, Gorilla Manor [2009], Hummingbird [2013], and, most recently, Sunlit Youth [2016]. The latter received praise from Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, The Guardian and many more. In between countless sold out shows and festival appearances - including a standout Coachella 2017 set - they've graced the stages of Austin City Limits, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show With James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and more.

Really enjoyed Local Natives and Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre. There was a great vibe about the show...the band put on a great performance, but even more importantly, they seemed to be having fun and were really personable. The only thing I wish was different is that they played longer!
God these guys are good. This was my seventh time seeing them and it feels like they get better every time I do. It was especially awesome to see them playing just to be out there with no album to promote. Jordana was amazing as well. If you're reading this, don't skip out on a Local Natives show if you ever get the chance.
Not one complaint about the theatre itself! Only trouble was for parking at the theatre. The corners were really tight turning in

The venue was excellent @ACL Live Moody Theatre! The whole experience was great arriving at the Moody Theatre the whole crew was friendly and helpful even ushers escorted us to our seats. The Local Natives sounded even better live than on streaming service. The opening act Jordan’s was excellent as well. My wife and I had a great time and we can’t wait to return.

No joke I’ve seen Local Natives 24 times and they just never disappoint especially here in Austin where they’ve made such a second home out of the city!
Local Natives are one of the best bands I have ever seen live. The vocals and the energy from this show was spectacular. Jordana was a great choice for an opener. Her music was great and fun. The venue/room was great as it felt intimate and we could still feel the energy even though we were sitting up high. Overall, I highly recommend seeing Local Natives live if you have the chance. They will most definitely not disappoint.
How could you not love local natives. THE FOUR PART HARMONIES?!?! Incredible. Could watch them everyday.
We enjoyed every second of Local Natives performance! A good mix of their previous music with a couple new tunes thrown in made for an amazing night. They are simply amazing live!
The venue was beautiful. It was my first time there. Local Natives put on one hell of a show. It was amazing! I was so happy to finally see them live again.
The band is great and their performance and setlist was cool. The venue needs lots work, the girls small purse and selling clear bags scam is terrible. The $40 parking when there are thousands of open spots further away, and no discount for ADA parking which should be close to free is a problem. The sound needs major work, the mix was off, the 2nd keyboard was weirdly too loud, the audio quality didn't match the bands at all. The drinks lines and food truck lines ridiculously long, no where to sit and eat, which is crazy cuz there is tons of space. The seat numbering needs to be improved and the seat sections need signs inside the venue.
The Local Natives is one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Only my second time seeing them live, but they're so insanely good. What an incredible night.
I was supposed to see local natives last March but everything shut down. When it was announced they would be playing again at the Greek theatre, I knew I had to come out and see them. They were amazing and worth the 6 hour drive! Loved every minute of the show and every song was great, can’t wait to see them again!
Local Natives welcomed fans back (and themselves) to live music with an amazing hometown show and the Greek was the perfect setting. Weather was perfect. Staff was welcoming. And the sound was on point. No issues in the venue whatsoever except for the long lines at every single bar making it tough to grab drink before they came on. As always traffic coming in and out of the venue is pretty hellish (we missed Cherry Glazer) and rideshare pickup leaving the Greek is nearly impossible. I called Uber and Lyft before encore and never got confirmed with vehicle. We had to walk down to sunset and then wait 30 minutes down there. Would recommend driving to anyone going soon to avoid both the long bar and traffic congestion ;)
It was better than we could have expected, especially during a pandemic! The Greek is the best place to hear our favorite bands, the venue is personal and the sounds is stadium! Already got ticket for more shows!
so good they had me crying! Especially after 2 years of not attending a concert they were really the best and so is the venue!
This was my third Local Natives concert and once again they didn’t disappoint. They played a mix of their older songs, as well as a lot from their new album. And they performed like it was their first location on the tour (so much energy, plus quite humble, as this was their first time in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL). And the venue was great.
Band performance was top-notch! Make sure you see Local Natives. 1000% worth it! Would have like to have known more details about the concert leading into the performance.
