Front runners restaurant has to be the best place to experience the races at Santa Anita! The service was amazing from Jesus our waiter and server to Claudia our waitress. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience at the races. 😆💥🔥😮💨
The excitement level was down with the smaller crowd. I will not sit in small boxes again. I will only go with friends and family to provide our own party during the week.
A totally refreshing experience, casual, great food and drink, sights, and the horses!
I loved how easy all the workers are. I love how classy this place looks and feels. I love the inside of the restaurant. I love that it was easy for my friends to be sent their ticket and could show up when they wanted to. Would highly recommend!
Frontrunners is a great location for watching the races at Santa Anita. In the comfort of a restaurant with good food and a full bar, you can watch the races and easily place bets.
They did not assign me the table I have reserved, they placed me in another place, my family and I did not enjoy it much, the location is very important in a horse racing event. thanks
Despite the fact that the rain was drizzling for some of the days racing, it was an excellent days racing and hospitality experience. The employees were all very attentive, the food was excellent in FrontRunner dining room.
We were well taken care of. The prices were very reasonable. The Quality was good and we were very satisfied.
Great time at a beautiful race track. Great food and attentive service in the Front Runner Restaurant. Nice table with a good view of the track and a TV to watch the races and even the Rose Bowl in the afternoon. Won a few races too. Awesome experience. We’ll be back.
Had to wait a long time for service and the menu choices were not what was listed on the website. Prices were also very high.
A family Christmas trip to Santa Anita was wonderful. The Frontrunner was a great place to watch the action, have some good food and drinks and enjoy being together.
After purchase of tickets, we had no idea what level we were on (no notice on the tickets) Had to spend 15min before landing in or seats
Got the box seats we wanted and enjoyed opening day. Always better to watch in person.
It was a fantastic experience. A gorgeous setting, great seats for the races, first rate service. And not to forget the great racing action, and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the participants, namely the horse, the jockeys and the trainers. We stayed for all 11 races, visited many parts of the facility, and just enjoyed the exciting atmosphere. Santa Anita is a special place and a great place to sped n the day at, either as an individual, a couple or a group. I highly recommend it to all.
Great way to spend an afternoon. Plenty of big tv screens to watch every sport going on. You get to enjoy watching fabulous horses run every 30 minutes. Food and drinks to fit every budget from simple to fine dining. Beer fest,food feats and plenty of activities on the infield for families with little ones. Costs are less expensive than other LA events. Best part you don’t have to bet or you have a chance to cover your day’s expenses
Came early to relax and have lunch. The lunch was great. All the staff were friendly. The races were wonderful The day was cool and the facility looked clean and fresh.

We love Live racing, it’s exciting to see the ponies race.
We always try to get box seats and this time we were super lucky and got a box in the handicapped section as one of our party was needing to use a wheelchair. The staff is always helpful whether showing you to your seats or helping you find the elevator.
A day in the race track is both accelerating and relaxing. Cold beer and delicious prime rib sandwiches were just the icing on the cake!
