Leslie Odom, Jr. is a multifaceted Tony and Grammy Award-winning, three-time Emmy and two-time Academy Award-nominated vocalist, songwriter, author, and actor. With a career that spans all performance genres, Odom has received recognition for his excellence and achievements in Broadway, television, film, and music. He can currently be seen in Rian Johnson's critically acclaimed Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, streaming worldwide on Netflix. Odom is currently in production on the highly anticipated sequel to the original iconic film The Exorcist. The film is scheduled to be released in October 2023. In 2020, Odom starred as legendary singer Sam Cooke in the award-winning Amazon film adaptation of One Night in Miami..., directed by Regina King. His portrayal of the soul icon and musical performance of original song "Speak Now" was met with widespread praise and critical acclaim, earning him multiple awards and nominations. He also starred in The Many Saints of Newark, a prequel to David Chase's award-winning HBO series The Sopranos, released in October 2021. Well known for his breakout role as 'Aaron Burr' in the smash hit Broadway musical Hamilton, Odom hosted "The Tony Awards Present: Broadway's Back!" on CBS in September 2021 (2022 Emmy nomination). Additional film and television credits include Apple TV+'s Central Park (2020 Emmy nomination), Hamilton on Disney+ (2021 Emmy nomination), Abbott Elementary, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Love in the Time of Corona, Harriet, and many more. He is a BMG recording artist and has released four full-length albums. Co-written with Nicolette Robinson, Odom's first children's book, I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know, will be published by Feiwel & Friends on March 28, 2023.
Every song was perfect! His voice is unbelievable. His band was amazing! The variety of songs-Christmas, Hamilton, Jazz, Broadway! We were graced with an encore which Leslie Odom JR said he had never done. It was simply outstanding! Well worth the wait!
A lil Sam Cooke. A lil Nat King Cole. Some jazz standards, some classic pop standards. A few tunes from his albums. A couple of Christmas grooves. And of course, his show stopping hits from Hamilton. Leslie Odom gave a wonderful performance, he was mesmerizing.
Everything about this event was great! A beautiful space, lines for the bar moved quickly, and the staff was fantastic. I am immune compromised and had forgotten my mask in the car. Shout out to an usher named Michael who searched until he found one for me and saved the night! Now, onto the talent - Holy Wow!! Leslie Odom Jr did not disappoint. He was absolutely amazing and completely worth the wait!! (Original date rescheduled 3 times). I would reschedule 3 more times to see him again!!
The set flowed amazingly, and the chosen pieces provided a nice mix older covers combined with newer works. All around, this is one of the best shows I’ve seen for the price in a long time.
I was amazed as Leslie Odom, Jr.'s voice swept me up and took me on a masterful musical journey. It was beautiful. Beautiful! He is a vocal genius and a wonderful entertainer. I pray he is able to share his gift(s) far and wide for many years.
The twice cancelled Christmas show in January was. I thing short of excellent. Admittedly, I was worried we were going to get all Christmas songs, and I’m just beyond that energy come January 14th. However, Leslie and his band have us a memorable night filled with music from Nat King Cole, Hamilton, various movies/shows, and some original work. They absolutely blew me away!
I saw Leslie in Nashville in 2017, and to this day, it was hands down my favorite live concert. His voice is angelic, and sounds so pure. The music was top notch also! It was so awesome!! He stood for hours doing meet & greets. Hes a genuine personality, and is laid back. Dont ever pass up a chance to watch LOJ perform!!
I believe the show was one of the best I have experienced!! What a terrific singer with an incredible range and a unique skill of taking the audience along on his journey! I highly recommend to all music lovers who are looking for a one of a kind musical experience but especially those seeking a distinct and refreshing outlet to a young and vibrant up and coming superstar!
I have both his new album and Christmas album. It is clear that no recording does his voice justice. Music flows through LO Jr and he has perfect tone. I would never pass up the chance to see him and would recommend the same to anyone.
We have seen Leslie Odom Jr. perform twice now. He is very funny at times on stage. It was a great show. We can’t wait to see him again on his “Stronger Magic” tour!

Leslie Odom Jr was awesome. The show included Christmas tunes, "Wait For It" from Hamilton, several Nat King Cole songs, and selections from his own albums. The 5 piece band was extraordinary too. I highly recommend this show. He coming back in 2020 with his "Stronger Magic Tour" and I can't wait. It's not in Los Angeles until March but I already have tickets.
Leslie is very engaging and personable with the audience. Loved his music with his band and the symphony. The venue was excellent! Hope to attend another event.
I enjoy music and theater and I frequently attend concerts and shows in Durham,Raleigh and sometimes Charlotte. Had never attended a performance by NC Symphony. Leslie Odom and the Symphony were awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed the show!

Loved seeing Leslie Odum Jr. Too bad we couldnt hear him over his band. Dont get me wrong - they were incredibly talented musicians, but when they were all playing full out could. not. hear. a. word. Total bummer.
Thoroughly enjoyed the symphony. Performance was outstanding from Odom. His accompanying musicians were some of the best talent I have had the opportunity to hear.
The best concert I’ve been to in a very long while. The conductor’s debut for MSO was awesome. I will definitely continue to follow Me. Odom’s, Jr. and recommend his concert to all I know.
