Staging, production and actors were outstanding. The Orpheum renovations made interior traffic patterns quite difficult.
My granddaughter and I attended this show at the Orpheum and it was as good if not better than productions we have seen on Broadway in NYC. Everything about this production was first class and wonderful. The voices were superb and the sets and special effects were amazing. We were extremely happy with this show.
Play was great. Sat in the orchestra hard to understand the singers words, esp the main character. This made play a bit hard to follow if didn't know storyline
The show was magnificent! Wonderful special effects, beautiful voices from the cast! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening with all of you!
The Orpheum Theatre was great! I have seen Les Miserables several times. This production was very good but rushed in several places. The stage was a degree too dark and many times you could not understand what the actors were saying - too fast. The voices were great! It just needs a little tweeking in the speed of the scenes and the speaking.
This was the 8th time I've seen Les Miserables. It gets better every time I see it. The story and music are so moving! Every member of the cast is so passionate. In one word I describe this show as "Powerful"! I will see it again!
Great performances by every cast member! Sets were great!
We really like the show, the set, and the company. We did feel like every scene was rushed a bit, but overall we enjoyed ourselves throughout.
The Orpheum was a lovely venue for our favorite Broadway spectacular, Les Miserables. The story and the music remains timeless and enjoyable.
Les Miserables was fantastic. The music was incredible and the cast was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening! Kudos to the orchestra, as well.!
I was very impressed with the set and the vocals and just the show overall. It was as good or better than previous performances I have seen. I loved it.
Loved the digital effects. Performers voices were outstanding.
The cast was so talented, and every scene moved me to tears or laughter.
It was Great singing performance but in the first half it was really hard to understand any of the words possibly where we were sitting? Mess row c on the side. Our first time there
I enjoyed the play, but it was hard to understand what they were singing most of the time. I thought it was just me but the people around us said they couldn’t understand the words either.
Wonderful show! I have been waiting for years to see it on stage. I was not disappointed. The singing, costumes and set were spectacular.
I know how hard it is to do touring performances. The first part of the show I saw seemed to be a bit rushed and sometimes the passion of the show seemed to go away. All and all the voices were excellent the acting the same. I just thought that some some ''soul'' was missing.. .
The ensemble was amazing and breathtaking. The singers did a great job harmonizing and making the songs stand out.
I wanted to stand up and sing with the chorus during the final act. Laughed and cried...... Will see this play any time it comes to Houston.
The orchestra, actors, and beautiful songs were outstanding, moving, inspirational, and outright enjoyable.
