  • A definite MUST see

by Les Miz was an incredibly amazing show. My 11 year old and I have been singing songs during our morning commute at the top of our lungs. Bravo to this amazing cast! on 12/21/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

Moving from the start, “look down, look down”. Cast and crew were top notch. Incredible performances and singing. It was quite an honor to witness

  • Phenomenal Experience

by Stephen on 12/20/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoRating: 4 out of 5

Les Mis is one of the greatest stories ever to meet the stage. We were often moved to tears by the story and the performances. The Plaza is a great venue--historic and easily accessible. At the same time, we have been to Broadway, and the performances here fell a bit short of that gold standard. I would still highly recommend both the show and the venue. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

  • Good play, bad audio

by Phxbball on 12/20/23ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 3 out of 5

Play wag good, but unable to understand all songs, sounded garbled. People next to us were very loud until they were told at intermission to tone it down.

  • Seats small

by Go on 12/20/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoRating: 2 out of 5

Event was great but the seats are too close together our knees were hurting as they hit seats in front of us and the seats in front would lean into our legs even more if person in front leaned back. So uncomfortable it distracted from enjoying show. We are not tall individuals either. This was in top sections.

  • It was great but about the bathrooms

by Susie on 12/20/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

The historic Plaza Theater is lovely, but the four-stall facilities coupled with locked doors with staff that kept honestly hundreds of us waiting in the lobby for the first 15 minutes of the show was a huge huge huge disappointment. Better communication with dimming of lights, increased announcements, additional signage if there are other restroom facilities, - all would have helped communicate the start of the show better. The intermission was also too short to fully accommodate the huge line for the restrooms. The show itself was amazing, the small stage gave a large presence to the performance, the vocals and acoustics were breathtaking.

  • Unforgettable Journey Through the Heart of Les Mis

by Nina Navarro on 12/20/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

I recently had the immense pleasure of attending a performance of Les Misérables, and I am still basking in the afterglow of this extraordinary theatrical experience. To put it simply, it was one of the best shows I've ever seen, and I feel compelled to share my overwhelming admiration for this masterpiece. From the moment the curtain rose, I was transported into the gritty streets of 19th-century France, a world brought to life with breathtaking sets, captivating costumes, and a level of attention to detail that left me in awe. The sheer scale of the production was nothing short of impressive, creating an immersive atmosphere that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the narrative. The iconic songs such as "I Dreamed a Dream"and "One Day More"were delivered with such passion and skill that they left a lasting impact, resonating in my mind long after the final curtain fell. Les Misérables left an indelible mark on my heart, reminding me of the enduring power of human resilience and the pursuit of justice. If you have the opportunity to witness this theatrical gem, don't hesitate—Les Misérables is an absolute must-see that will leave you both moved and inspired.

  • AMAZING

by Emma on 12/20/23ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

I was going to see Les Mis because I heard that it was a popular show. I saw the movie like a friend recommended it to me and it was alright. However, when I went to see the musical along with my friend it was absolutely amazing! I would recommend watching the musical and not the movie, or watch the musical before you watch the musical. 10/10 I would watch it again,

  • Les Misérables soars majestically!

by tinydynamite on 12/19/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the most emotionally stirring iteration of Les Misérables I've ever witnessed. Nick Cartell, the lead who inhabits the character of Jean Valjean, is spectacular in this demanding role. His voice is as pure as they come – at times commanding, determined, broken; his impressive falsetto tore at my being with its fragility and all the longing of the human condition. The supporting cast is no less incredible, acting out an age old tale with an immediacy and freshness that was truly inspired. This is a touring company and production one dare not miss.
