Cameron Mackintosh presents the acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, Les Misérables. This brilliant staging has taken the world by storm and has been hailed as "a reborn dream of a production" (Daily Telegraph).
Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption-a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. The magnificent score of Les Misérables includes the songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home," "One Day More" and many more.

We'd had the tickets since January. We wanted to do something different for my birthday. Best Birthday present! We had such a a wonderful time. The show was absolutely phenomenal! Highly recommend!
This touring group was fantastic! Amazing talent and set design! This was the best show I've seen in a long time!!
I have seen Les Mis several times. I've seen it in New York and London and several travelling performances. It was one of the first musicals I saw as a kid. This was hands down the best performance I have ever seen. The amount of times that Jean Valjean gave me goosebumps, I cannot count. Fantine moved me to tears. Javert had a powerful voice and stage presence, but little Gavroche stole the show. The best part of the show though? I introduced my daughter to the world of Les Mis. She has now been bitten by the same Broadway bug that bit me. I don't have enough words to express what a gift that will be.
We had a great time! The performance was wonderful! We
Only complaint is their extreme vocals made it hard to understand some lyrics, but otherwise great casting and I was in tears. Favorite scene was Javert’s last performance.
We saw Les Mis at the Charleston Coliseum. We were in Orchestra 4 seats and they were amazing. The talent, especially that of the actor who was Jean Valjean was amazing. I would not have expected better performers on Broadway!
Have seen this live at least 4 times before including on Broadway. In many cases the best voices and characters with this tour. As always the sets are a wonder. So enjoyable I’ve been singing and humming the music for days.
Les Miserables is my all time favorite Broadway show. I have seen the show on Broadway 3 times and I have also seen the show in London. I thought the sets were very good, In fact, they looked like the same ones in the Broadway production I thought the cast and the orchestra were amazing. The caliber of the singing voices was wonderful I highly recommend it to everyone!
I went back with my daughter twice within 5 days because we enjoyed it SO much! The magic, the acting, the music, the stage sets, etc were nothing slight of SPECTACULAR! I would literally see it again and again!!!!!!!!!!
If you have not seen it you should see it!! The set, actors the music... Oh my!
Stunning performance. I feel bad for the lady next to me as I sobbed the entire time.
First let me say the performers were excellent...The music and singing was very moving...However...If you were not sitting in the first half of the orchestra section, you probably couldn't see anything in detail...The lighting was terrible!!!...I get it...Les Miserables is a dark and dingy time in French history, but watching the performance by candlelight was very disappointing... The pale yellow spotlights they used were focused on the upper portion of the person singing (causing shadows to be cast on their face as if they were holding a flashlight under their chin like kids do at Halloween) and leaving the rest of the cast on stage to be in almost complete darkness because there was no background lighting...It's unfortunate that the countless hours spent on costume design and set design were for naught because nobody could see them in detail... From the opening scene on the ship you have to think..."Man...It sure is dark...I hope the rest of the performance is not like this because I can't see anything...Not even their lips moving!" Well...That was the case...with the exception of two songs where there is a drastic difference in the lighting and you can actually see the whole cast, their vibrant costumes and their facial expressions which gave you a visual experience as well as a listening experience!!!...And then we go back into the unknown of "dark and dingy"again after each of those songs... I found myself at times just closing my eyes and listening to the performance because it was a futile effort of watching dark blobs move around the stage...The expectation when attending one of these musicals is that it should be visual as well as auditory...otherwise you could just buy the soundtrack and save a bunch of time and money... My seating tickets were center section, a few rows above the orchestra section, where I have viewed other theatre events in the past with no problem seeing the stage from those seats...Had I known the outcome would have been like this, I could have invested in more expensive seats or decided to just buy the soundtrack!!!
Music, sets, performance all superbly done! I would have seen it again if I could have.
This was my 7th time seeing Les Mis. It is my all-time fave show! Aside from the time I saw it in DC, this was the best performance! Very strong voices. Great cast. Orchestra was perfect. I wish I could go again, but I will wait til next time!
We have seen "Les Miserables"several times, including the original Broadway show. This production was spectacular in every way: the staging, the acting, the voices, the orchestra. Cannot say enough about the professional quality and stunning presentation. I would see it again tomorrow, given the chance!
The vocals were gorgeous, the symphony was perfect and these two elements worked flawlessly together. The sets were well done and worked well for a touring production. My only quibble is a big one. The lighting design was too dim and the spotlight trim too tight. The spots could have been larger and the actors’ faces would have been easier to see. I get that the dim lighting and omnipresent mist were for mood; however, once that mood is set, variations in light intensity would have made the action and sets more interesting and less monotonous. We were only 20 rows back from the stage but it was difficult to see expressions. In Fantime’s dying scene, the spot should have been larger, to envelope both Fantime and Valjean. This light cut across Valjean’s chest and seemed to place him “away” from Fantime while she’s pleading for him to save her child. All in all, a wonderful production though, and the lighting design should not be hard to tweak.
saw Les Mis twice before and being that one was on Broadway, I really was wondering if it could live up to my expectations. It really did! The crew was amazing…orchestra and cast were spot on with everything! I enjoyed taking my family and felt they were true to the original production I saw many years ago. Thank you!
This production of Les Mis was amazing from the staging to the music and performances! The venue was great, comfortable seats and easy parking
Cast…top notch…funny…great experience. Just an enjoyable- tear inducing experience
