About

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, LES MISÉRABLES makes a triumphant return to Chicago. This brilliant staging has taken the world by storm and has been hailed as "a reborn dream of a production" (Daily Telegraph).

The magnificent score of LES MISÉRABLES includes the songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home," "One Day More" and many more.

  • Les Miz 2023

by Broadway Joe on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Probably the best Ensemble I’ve seen since the original London cast September 1985

  • Les Mis Day

by Nana on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

We got there early to go downstairs to the get-together ahead of the show but we were disappointed with the fact that literally they didn't have enough plates and no one could find any more. I feel like they didn't make enough effort downstairs the only thing great about it was that we didn't have to wait in a long line for the restroom.

  • Wonderful show!

by SG on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I love Les Miserables! I've seen it a bunch and f times and this cast did an outstanding job. Javert was a highlight, all the vocal performances were great and his was amazing. I wish I had tickets to see it again.

  • Superb as always!

by Shaw on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

We’ve been to the show at least seven or eight times since 1996. This touring company was just as exceptional as the last. Cadillac Palace is also a wonderful setting to host big time Broadway musicals like this one.

  • Not as great as usual

by Lisjak on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I have seen Les Mis several times over the years. This is my second time at Cadillac Palace. The first time we sat in Balcony L a few years ago and it was fantastic. This time we were in DCIR-L and it was just ok. It was almost as though it wasn’t loud enough. Typically this show brings me to tears with every song. I could barely even stay focused because we were not close enough to see well, could not hear well and had to move our bodies to be able to see around the people in front of us. These seats were more expensive than the seats we had there before and it was definitely not worth it. It was a disappointing evening.

  • Les Miserables Beyond My Expectations

by Michelle on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I have waited 23 years to see this musical and it did not disappoint in any way. I was supposed to see it in London in July of 2000 but got food poisoning the day of the performance and could not attend with my family. Every time it toured in the Chicago area some thing or other would always come up, but not this time. It was one of the best days of the year for me.

  • Well worth the money

by Big Daddy on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The only bad thing was the wait outside to get in! Chicago is called the Windy City for a reason! Everything else was GREAT!

  • This was a phenomenal performance!

by Diana on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Talent was fabulous - every single one! Clever set. Well-staged. I keep singing the music in my head! Comic relief was appreciated and well done!

  • The musical was excellent! The seating not so much:(

    by D. B. on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

We sat in the first balcony. I had to crane my neck the entire performance, partially because the woman in front of me was leaving forward the whole time to see around the person in front of her, and partially because the aisles are not properly pitched for viewing. Additionally, the ushers were seating people after the performance started and used the flashlight on their cell phones which was very distracting. The musical was terrific, but the tickets were too expensive to not be able to see properly.

  • Disappointing Entry Process - Arrive Early

by PH on 2/28/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

On the evening of the performance I attended, the arrival process was slowed to a crawl because the entry staff failed to advise people not to attempt to gain entry until after their e-ticket was displayed on the screen of their phone. Patron after patron fumbled through their phone only once they arrived at the front of the line. As a result, perhaps 100+ patrons were not seated when the show began (at its scheduled time) and had to listen to the first 15 minutes of the performance from the lobby area. Better communication by staff would have fixed this before it became a problem.

  • Great show poor Cadillac theater employees

by Rob on 2/27/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic, but was a little disappointed with the Cadillac Theatres desire to clear the building out moments after the show was over. Cold windy and nasty night and they would not let people even stand in the foyer area much less the lobby area waiting for their rides. They demanded everyone get out immediately. I will not come back to the Cadillac theater. My five stars was for the fantastic show, but not for the Cadillac theater.

  • Wonderful performance with favorite girls

by Mel on 2/27/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Les Mis is our favorite play of all. The four of us traveled from WI, IN and SC to see it together. When it comes back to Chicago we will see it. The theater is a work of art!

  • Outstanding performance

by Marcie and Jim on 2/27/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

We were thrilled to be able to see this show "Les Mis" ---especially to see Matt Crowle (who was a former student in high school). The entire performance was riveting and even though it is a long show, the time flew by. It was well worth the trip to Chicago to see.

  • Fantastic Show

by MO on 2/27/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

We’ve seen Les Miserables at least ten times. It’s our favorite musical. This performance was awesome. Cast was strong throughout. The sound and diction were outstanding. “Bring Him Home” was the best ever!

  • Can’t miss

by Chiman on 2/27/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It’s Les Mis, not much else to say. Cast was amazing. There’s a reason it’s the longest running show.
