Second year in a row seeing them, and can't wait for next year. They do not disappoint, and they mixed up the sets so it wasn't exactly the same as last year. Highly, highly recommend. Entertainment at it's best!

We were overwhelmed. Great musicians, covering Chicago and a few Earth Wind and Fire pieces. And volume was perfect -

by Sven on 5/16/25Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Yes, they are playing covers. But this is a probably the best band you will hear live this year. We recently saw Chicago and I would rather spend an evening with Leonid - they are that good.

  • Rocking with Leonid and Friends

by Rich on 5/16/25Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 4 out of 5

My fourth concert with Leonid and Friends. Their live performances just keep getting better (if that’s even possible!) Leonid’s son could keep the chatter down a bit. My first time visiting the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ - we sat in the balcony and the seats were TERRIBLE. Literally no leg room whatsoever. Very uncomfortable.

  • Great Band

  • Great show

by Metboy on 5/16/25Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Leonid and Friends were better than expected. Musicians were first class, song selection was outstanding and they played longer than most shows We’ve attended at the Basie.

by eddieb on 5/7/25Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic as usual. I've seen them before and was pleasantly surprised by some new songs they've added to their set, since the last time I saw them. I was very happy to see Ksenia taking the lead on more songs and a great variety as well. I'm going to see them again in 2 weeks up at Tarrytown, NY, I can hardly wait!!

  • Most amazing "cover"group around

As a 25x concert-goer of Chicago and EW&F, my expectations were high – and exceeded…beautiful, convenient venue..

  • Great

by Steve on 5/6/25Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

Leonid and Friends put on a fabulous show. They played Chicago, Steely Dan, Earth, Wind and Fire and other artists to perfection. The songs in their set lists were crafted so well when written by the original song writers for these supergroups. Leonid and Friends play them as if you are listening to the original artists. Lead vocals and harmonies are right on target. The instruments are played without a hitch, nailing difficult arrangements to perfection. Highly recommended.

  • Fantastic show (as hoped it would)

by Dan from Delaware on 5/6/25Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed every part of the May 3 concert at Penns Peak. I am very familiar with L & F's by way of the YouTube videos. I am a Chicago band fan and saw Chicago in concert at Erie PA in the 1970s. This Russian band has cloned the Chicago sound and I was thrilled to hear some added material from Blood, Sweat, and Tears, EWF, Steely Dan, Carpenters. Always concerned about hearing a live act after having experienced mostly studio recordings of a group. This live music was at or ABOVE the studio sound and we appreciated the stage presence acting at the concert. Always concerned about acoustic properties of an open Hall type venue, however, the sound engineers with this band had tuned everything perfectly. I am sure to be buying tickets for more Leonid and Friends and more Penns Peak events. This was a great show !

  • Awesome!

  • Wow!

by RmV on 5/6/25Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing musicians that really appreciate the nuances of Chicago's sound and also do other covers equally well, both vocally and instrumentally. Their manager (who is the son pig the band leader) was funny and engaging and did wonderful introductions of each of the band members. I was looking for a quality Chicago cover band to see until the real band comes back to our area and found Leonid and friends on YouTube. Their live performance was fabulous; don't miss them!

  • Good Show

by Don on 5/6/25Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 4 out of 5

Nice venue. Accessible for my daughter in wheelchair. Leonid and friends do great Chicago covers. Wasn’t as impressive with some of the other songs but overall a good solid show.
