Concert was great. More than I expected. But when I went online to reserve my seats I choose the two end seats. I did not sit on the end. I was two seats in from the aisle.
Found these folks by chance on YouTube & became hooked! Individually and collectively they are some of the most talented musicians I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I am a musician myself and have been performing in a band for over 50 years, occasionally attempting Chicago tunes... they are complex & difficult to play. Leonid & Friends did an impeccable job of re-creating the feel & electricity of the originals at least eclipsing the efforts of Chicago themselves! BRAVO and I hope to have the opportunity to experience another live performance one day!!
What a great show this band performed. They play the music of Chicago with a precise accuracy unheard in today's music market. Not only are they all great musicians they are warm-hearted friendly people who have broken down the political barriers with the unifying force of music. They have not heard the band Chicago "live" and have learned all the songs in perfect English which they play and sing in flawless harmony. This is their second tour with sold-out venues across the US. They will be coming back soon for a third-don't miss them they are a true crowd-pleaser.
Leonid and Friends was a fantastic tribute to Chicago. They really nailed it. Played all the great songs plus some older standards for then hardcore Chicago enthusiasts. I would see them again.

I had five seats from front row and loved every part of the performance. They were great and i will be seeing them again in Las Vegas in August.
If you want to hear Chicago like they originally sounded, then Leonid & Friends is your ticket. Not only is the music spot on note-for-note, but all of the performers clearly are having fun, love what they're doing, and have their own unique personalities. They received standing ovations from many of us after almost every song. Don't miss the opportunity to see them!
There is no question these guys played the way I would like to hear CHICAGO. unfortunately CHICAGO, don't play it the same way they recorded. It was fun and enjoyable evening with my wife and friends, I asked for Heineken beer and I was served CORONA, but that was okay, I didn't want that to be an issue, the place is great, I not really a big fan of big venues. Need more restrooms.
It was an overall fantastic night. The venue allowed for an up close experience. The Band was everything we were expecting and more.
Can't use too many superlatives describing the night of top-shelf music from Leonid & Friends at Sony Hall. Our seats were great and so was the band. Fun, entertaining night.
If you love the music of Chicago and want to hear it played as it should be then see Leonid and Friends! Excellent show!
Fantastic show by some phenomenal musicians and performers. Honored to have attended their first performance in USA. If you are a Chicago fan, treat yourself. They will take you back and you will “really know what time it is!” Long live Leonid and Friends!
