  • AMAZING!!

A true talent/artist that is hard to find these days in country music. Classic good ol' fashion country music at it's best. Lee Ann has the most beautiful voice and did an amazing job. No fluff just stripped down country music. The Birchmere is the perfect venue for true talented musicians. Loved everything about the show! Can't wait for her to come back to the east coast!

  • Excellent show - worth seeing!

by linkomatic on 11/14/15Flying Monkey - PlymouthRating: 4 out of 5

I was only vaguely familiar with Lee Ann, but decided to take a flyer to see her show -- at the Flying Monkey, of course! Glad I did. She's a wonderful singer, with a clear, strong voice a little reminiscent of someone who I'm a huge fan of: Alison Krauss. Excellent band, too, with a couple of guitar players who are multi-instrumentalists. She sang a lot of stuff from her latest album, which was fine with me, because I didn't recognize most of the other songs, either. The best segment was in the middle of the show when she and those two guys did a mini-set of acoustic songs with a country gospel feel. Really fine. The show had a pretty relaxed feel to it, with a lot of mid-tempo numbers, mostly about love, loss, cheating hearts, drinking and so on -- the usual country fare. Very tasteful, if not over-the-top high energy. Some others below noted that she lacked stage presence, didn't talk to the audience, and so forth. She must have taken some coaching, because she talked to the audience quite a bit, told some cute little stories about some of the songs, and fired out a few quips, too -- quite engaging all around! I will say that she doesn't MOVE that well on the stage -- a little wooden, and seemed reluctant to let it all hang out. But she is who she is, which is just fine.

  • Not an entertainer, just a singer!

Virtually no dialogue with the audience. Just singing!

  • Leeann Womack was awesome

by robbieit on 5/17/15Charline McCombs Empire Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

I went and saw Leeann Womack and Zane Williams and they were both awesome. Everything was perfect. It was my first time seeing her and I wasn't disappointed. I always wanted to see her and I finally did and it was well worth it. Leeann is my favorite female singer. Zane Williams was awesome too. I was so impressed that I bought one of his CD, shirt, and got to meet him. I also bought a Leeann Womack shirt too.

  • Lee Ann was AMAZING!

by BigLeeAnnFan on 5/12/15Charline McCombs Empire Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was small enough to make it feel personal. I enjoyed the fact that we could hear her voice, the lyrics, above the music. Many times, the music drowns out the vocals. I was surprised to hear her new songs, sounds like she is getting in to singing Christian music.

  • Great perfomance

Great Concert and awesome venue. I took my mom for Mother's Day -- she loved it. Lee Ann Womack has an incredible voice and she made the concert personable.

  • Great Concert

by PTCrossFit on 5/11/15Charline McCombs Empire Theatre - San AntonioRating: 4 out of 5

This was a very intimate setting as our seats were close to the stage. If she was on tour these tickets would have been 4 times the cost. She is not much of a performer but sounds great. Voice is just like what you hear on the radio. Also, the opening act "Zane Williams" did a great job performing. He is a wonderful entertainer and had us laughing & crying. This was well worth the money!!

  • Great show!

An amazing evening of old fashioned honky tonk music.

  • Lee Ann Womack is the best

by Balcor on 5/11/15Charline McCombs Empire Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

One of the most enjoyable musical events I have attended and I have attended many. Lee Ann was outstanding. The Empire Theater is wonderful and she made it all the better and I would go see her again today and hope to get the opportunity to do so at next opportunity.

  • Randy Carol was right about being moved

  • Fantastic

by sisternumber5 on 4/24/15Rams Head On Stage - AnnapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Lee Ann Womack is excellent live and her voice is as strong and vibrant as ever. Womack played a varied selection of songs from her numerous albums as well as gospel songs, cover songs, and songs from her new album, The Way I’m Livin’. Amanda Shires has a lovely singing voice and plays the fiddle and ukulele. After her opening song-which she sang a Capella, Shires invited her husband, Jason Isbell, to accompany her on acoustic guitar for the rest of the set. I really like Isbell's music, so that was a nice surprise. Their duet cover of Warren Zevon's Mutineer was fabulous.

  • Good, old fashioned Country Music

by Anonymous on 11/18/14Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert. Charming place, suitable for attending a concert of this favorite. Concert started a little pale in the beginning, building it self up to an uforgetting event. The band was great, especially the lead guitar, but Ms. Womack was the biggest star! Enjoyed it very much.

  • Lee Ann Terrific; Opening Act Not Needed

by Steve42 on 11/16/14Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Great performer; warm personality. Played both new songs and old hits.

  • Great concert!

by Spiffier on 11/16/14Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

LeeAnn was great! Her voice was as good as it always was and she was very entertaining. I loved the concert. Was alittle upset and felt very bad that the place was no where near filled to capacity. Not sure why as she is a great performer and this is a great venue.
