  • World Class

This woman is absolutely legit. She is authentic country and clearly respects the old stuff. Great songs, great band, GREAT voice. Love.

  • Lee Ann Womack great, but no steel guitar!

by Jaggyjagg on 10/22/14Valley Performing Arts Center - NorthridgeRating: 4 out of 5

Lee Ann was awesome. Awesome singer and she really got into it. The performance was excellent and the band was sublime. However, there was no steel guitar. The bass player was sick and the substitute messed up during one of the songs. Not a big deal, it's cool to see how the band recovers from mistakes and it encourages others to do the same. But NO steel guitar? Come on. I went to hear the steel guitar cry because she is traditional, not contemporary country, as she claims is the new direction she is taking. I thought Lee Ann and George Strait along with Alan Jackson were the only artists left singing traditional country. Maybe in Texas or Tennessee, but it was NOT steel guitar and twin fiddles in Northridge. Maybe I will need to see her and the 'whole' band down south. Anyway, great singer and the venue was small and personal. Next time, check first if the whole band will be there.

  • A Wonderful Night...

by justjilly on 10/21/14Valley Performing Arts Center - NorthridgeRating: 5 out of 5

The venue is perfect for this type of concert... We really enjoyed the opening act, The Brothers Landreth. But LeeAnn made the night... What a true beautiful soul and voice. She's got spunk, charm and grace. And THAT VOICE. Thank you so much for coming to LA and we will see you again. Soon we hope!

  • Awesome and Amazing!

It was wonderful to have an artist of such great caliber as Lee Ann Womack perform in Northridge! The show was awesome and amazing! She performed selections from her new CD as well as her signature songs. Her voice is so clear and nuanced! We were lucky to have front row seats to the concert. She really knows how to connect with her audience, and appreciates her fans' love for traditional country music.

  • Lee Ann - Incredible voice just AMAZING!

by MeyerG on 10/21/14Valley Performing Arts Center - NorthridgeRating: 5 out of 5

I could not have been more pleased. Seeing her was on my bucket list and I was so glad that I was able too. If you listen to her music she has that same amazing / soothing voice in person that you hear on the radio or cd. She is so humble in saying thank you after every song accompanying a beautiful smile. I would love to see her again, she is such an amazing singer!

Fantastic!! From the first song to the last Lee Ann brought it. Her voice was perfection, my wife and I enjoyed every minute of the concert. If your looking for the perfect venue don't miss the Valley Performing Arts Center. There is not a bad seat in the house!

The CSUN Performing Arts Center is a great venue. Easy Parking, nice sound and beautiful building. Lee Ann is an amazing talent. Her voice is like fine wine. My husband had no idea what the show was and enjoyed every minute. The Bros. Landreth were very talented and we enjoyed there performance.

This was our third concert there and each one has been great. Nothing new on the schedule for the next 6 months of interest to us though. Wood like to see some more country concerts.

Everyone on the stage seemed to really enjoy themselves and the music reflected that.

No show, no nothing. The band was setup, The curtain was not even raised as she entered. Don't waste the money.

  • Lee Ann Womack had good music, little presence

    by ChickenBob on 11/12/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 3 out of 5

Lea Ann Womack has good music, but unfortunately showed little presence or showmanship on the stage. The seats at Billy Bob's were ok, but 2 were blocked by a pole...this was not mentioned on ticketmaster while purchasing. Overall, if you're a huge Womack fan, this was an adequate concert. Otherwise, the experience as a whole was average.

  • She's amazing, what's new??

    by Kaci on 11/8/10Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was great. I took my friend for her birthday. She'd never been to a LAW concert, and I was happy to take her! It was great, she sang all the classics and then some other country songs.

  • Lee Ann Womack is amazing

  • Two Pure Talents

by chasaball on 8/31/10Duquoin State Fair - DuquoinRating: 5 out of 5

I took my family on a weekend trip to see this show. It was my second time to see both Lee Ann Womack and Joey and Rory and both acts were great! This show was much simpler than many of the big budget shows. There were no large special effects... just the talent of the artists and it was all that was needed. Joey and Rory were actually the reason for the trip as I had seen them a few months back at a casino and my 8 & 11 year old daughters had not been able to go. They were not disappointed. Their music is original, Joey's voice is amazing and Rory is starting to come to front and sing leads on some great songs. Their banter with each other is funny and goes along perfectly with the humorous songs that were included with the set. Lee Ann also did not disappoint. It was wonderful to see a show where you knew you were hearing the real voice of the artist and not some digitized version.

  • Lee Ann was Awesome

by rebelishus on 8/29/10Duquoin State Fair - DuquoinRating: 5 out of 5

Joey and Rory were very entertaining and sounded good. I really liked the Coat of many colors song she did. Lee Ann Womack was great. Lee Ann did some old and new songs and was very good with the fans, she moved to both ends of the stage to make sure everyone had a chance to get good pictures of her.

  • by Gozz on 8/29/10Duquoin State Fair - DuquoinRating: 4 out of 5

Good traditional country music with a touch of jazz in a couple of songs. Band was very good.

  • Lee Ann was so amazing!

I loved this concert. She not only played her songs, but some other old country hits like, "Walkin After Midnight" It was a great show. She ended with my favorite song, Ashes! After the show there was a meet and greet and that was wonderful. She's so amazing! She gave me a huge hug and just really made my day.
