    A Living Legend

by Jan on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol Burnett is a phenomenal down to earth classy lady! She had everyone in stitches, laughing so hard. She is so genuine and sincere in her respect and relationship she had with all of the stars on her show, but also especially with her audience. She is a true STAR!!

Love Carol Burnett - Just a little disappointed.

    by M. B. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

The show was good. I enjoyed reminiscing and watching old Carol Burnett show skits. Miss Burnett was very patient and humorous answering audience questions. I wish that we would have been able to take photos at the end of the show (as promised by the theater). I also felt perhaps an opening act - maybe a young comedienne - would have added to the show. It really was quite short for the money we paid for the tickets. However - I love Carol Burnett and am glad I was able to attend.

    AWESOME!!!

by Dana on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol Burnett is the best, a true living legend. Other than Tim Conway, there will never be another comedian of her caliber.

    A Legend...

by Hilzz on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol Burnett is a legend. She looked great! She was personable and friendly. She answered questions from the audience, shared clips from her tv show and told funny life stories. We wished the show could have gone on for hours...

    A Pure Delight

by J.Boomer on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

This was a once in a lifetime experience, hands down! Miss Burnett treated the audience to 90 minutes of interactive Q&A interspersed with video montages of some of the funniest moments of her show. It was easy to forget that she is closing in on 90 years of age because she was so animated and responsive. She even treated us to a Tarzan Call! By far one of the best events that I have attended in a very long time.

    What FUN!

    by B. F. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

This was such a joyous experience! Carol's attitude and presentation were GREAT! Lots of laughs and smiles! She is "ageless"! Her personal interaction with the audience added so much value to her "return"!

Laughter with the great CAROL BURNETT 🤣

    by S. P. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

I was chosen first from the audience to ask Miss Carol Burnett a question. But first I thanked her from all of us for coming to Detroit to perform. Such a wonderful comedy legion and great side- splitting clips of her variety show. Interesting behind the scenes stories of her ‘ comedy gang ‘and other movie stars of the era. A show definitely NOT to be missed ❤️

    One of a kind!

by Dave on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

I didn't know what to expect going into this show but we were delightfully surprised. Carol Burnett is a class act and a good example of how comedy can be funny and entertaining by being clean and genuine. The Q&A, stories, and clips were such a good balance of pure entertainment. I highly recommend to attend if you can.

    Enjoyable Walk Down Memory Lane

    by L. M. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

The Q & A format combined with video reflections worked and it was a fun walk down memory lane. I do feel, however, the event was overpriced for what it was. There was no opportunity to meet Carol Burnett and no live performances or other guest appearances.

This show was so much more then we expected. I went back in time. If you have a chance to see the show go.

    Wonderful

by L. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol Burnett was wonderful. We were hoping maybe she had a surprise guest star, but no. She still put on a wonderful talk for 90 minutes.

Carol Burnett spent 90 minutes on stage answering audience questions and showing clips from her best sketches. I felt truly honored to be in the presence of this iconic comedian.

by Peggy on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

My tickets were a gift from my daughter and absolutely priceless! It was a wonderful night full of laughter. I have not laughed that hard since Carol's show went off the air. Thank you for the memories and laughs.

    Carol Burnett was excellent!

by Jeremy B on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

The Opera House is an excellent theatre and very comfortable. I thought the format of the show was OK, but I think the audience questions could have been previously submitted because after hearing five people ask for autographs, that got a little old. Her stories and storytelling were excellent and provided great background for her life and her show. I think a moderator would have been beneficial because then we could have heard a few more stories. The clips were excellent and integrated into the show nicely. It was a fantastic time and a very enjoyable show.

The audience loved her and it was mutual

by KB on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol, at 86, gave her fans what they came for --- a couple hours with her being herself. She took questions from the audience and showed her humor in her replies. The video clips were great and classic. I do wish she had responded to the audience with an encore, but she is 86!

    Awesome Show

    by K. M. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol Burnett still has her humor and witty comebacks even at the age of 86. She just gets better! The show was a little hard to hear with the clapping, but everything else was a positive experience. I'd go again!!!
