    I went back stage

by Patrice on 10/25/19Tilles Center Concert Hall - Brookville

Ms Burnett was amazing, intriguing and funny. She had great stories and she was hilarious. I asked a question and she let me go back stage after the show to take a picture. A picture with Carol Burnett is priceless. My Instagram is Mss_Francois see for yourself 😌

    Heartwarming

by Dave Y on 10/10/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

What an amazing experience. My aunt and I watched the show together frequently in the late 70’s. She was house bound due to crippling arthritis, so it was a special time for us! Carol brought back many fond memories and interacted with the audience very well.

    Evening at Shea's with friends

by wnybab on 10/7/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

Carol Burnett is a comedy icon and my friend and I wanted to see her when we learned she was going to be at Shea's. Overall, the show was okay showing videos from her previous performances and taking questions from the audience. I learned things about Carol Burnett I did not know. For instance, she was very good friends with Lucy. Someone from the audience invited her to see Lucy's museum in Jamestown. We were surprised she had not been to it yet. A couple of the questions Carol did not specifically answer, sort of went on tangents with her reply. We are glad we saw Carol Burnett but thought the tickets were overpriced for what was offered.

    My Mom's 71st Birthday!!

by Barbara's Daughter on 10/6/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

Tickets were brought for my mom. The show was Oct 1, 2019 in Buffalo NY. Oct 1st happened to be her 71st Birthday. Being a Carol Burnett for as long as I can remember, I though tickets to the show would be a good present. Mom told me it would be one of the Highlights of her Life. The Iconic Carol Burnett in person literally said to my mom, "Happy Birthday Barbara". Beautiful!!!

Was exciting to be int he same room with such a legend.

by MIKE NOW on 10/4/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

A lot of our friends were there without knowing prior that they were going. It was fun to gather with them to discuss the show we had just seen. Overall everyone had a great time. A lot of the stories that were told, we had heard previously. Tough to say but a couple of stories perhaps not known before or published before would have been great as well. Of course the clips from shows were very good. Bloopers have all been shown many times but if there were any that were not shown would have been great. The costumes, shown in the clips, were incredible as well. It would be great if Carol could have travelled with perhaps 3-5 of her costumes and after the clips were shown to open the curtain and had them displayed behind her would have been nice. Or maybe even have her come out in one of the costumes from the show that we had just seen in the clips. Everyone also commented on how she talked about her "regulars" , her guest stars etc. but she actually did not talk about Lyle Waggoner at all although she did show him in some of her clips. May have just been a "miss" on her part. We all agreed it was a joy to see her in person and how well she was. The Tarzan Yell at 86 was incredible. We thought it wonderful that she included Buffalo in her tour. Also, we thought there was going to be a photo shoot opportunity after the show as was mentioned prior to the show, but it did not seem to happen.

    Funny Haha

by k. on 10/4/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

It was ok. We were hoping it would involve a skit or two. Couldn't take a picture till the end, but she scooted out. Couldn't get a question in, we were too far in. So why not have mic stands for the audience? Nothing to buy, because nothing was sold. Very expensive for storytelling.

    Carol Burnett

by D. B. on 10/4/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

I was a little disappointed that the "show" was all question and answer. I would have been fine with even 20 minutes of stand up, followed by questions and answers. Carol Burnett is an icon so it is difficult to write that I was disappointed. Saw John Mulaney 2 weeks ago and he was hilarious; he had some question and answer at the end. BTW, the age of Ms. Burnett might be a factor but I saw Paul McCartney last year and his age was not even a consideration....he sang more songs with more energy than much younger performers. Of course, Paul's the best. I would only recommend this "show" to those who are OK watching TV clips and hearing antidotes.

    Carol

by J. B. on 10/4/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

Everything was wonderful except my question and waving arm were ignored buy the young ladies with the microphone. Evidently, I was too difficult to get to me even though there were empty seats in front of me. My question is, 'were the rehersals ever filmed? Is there a vault full of film showing how the skits were supposed to air?' So, is there a way to have Carol answer? She seems so gracious and sweet. I loved the stories about Lucy and her. Glad I got the chance to see her

This was a wonderful experience. Carol Burnett is one classy lady. The best part is I got to share it with my mom. We had a great time listening to Carols stories from her past. It's an evening I will never forget.

What a fantastic experience listening to Carol talk and answer questions about her life and her career. Very enjoyable evening. I got to relive a lot of past experiences of the Carol Burnett show. She really tied the whole evening together very well, a professional, a legend of comedy.

by Mike on 10/4/19Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

A terrific evening with a legend! Carol Burnett was a woman I grew up with and watched on television as a child. Now I get to see her on stage talking about her life and her comedy. It was informative and entertaining and occasionally poignant. Absolutely a stellar evening

    What an opportunity!

by Beverly on 10/3/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol Burnett took me back to my childhood! It was unbelievable! She is truly a living legend; and I was able to see this awesome woman that made me laugh out loud all my life. I was truly grateful! She was so graceful and gracious. She stood on that stage for 2 hours, in heels, at 86 and never looked tired. She made me want to up my A game! I'm so fortunate to have been able to enjoy her in person.

    Carol was awesome!!!

    by B. S. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Carol was phenomenal! She was funny, she really listened to audience members when they asked questions and she was very down to earth. She was after all THE Carol Burnett! She showed why she is a living comedy legend! I wish the person in charge of getting audience questions in my area would have been on the ball instead of standing and often sitting listening to Carol. She made no effort whatsoever to get attention to our area so we could interact with Carol. That was the only thing I found disappointing.

    disappointed

    by T. S. on 10/2/19Detroit Opera House - Detroit

My sister and I were thrilled to see Carol Burnett in person. However, having said that, we were both disappointed with not only the content, but the duration as well, spending way too much money for what we received. We really wanted more comedy. Other than the film clips, it was boring.
