Carol Burnett was engaging and so entertaining! She told funny stories, showed old television clips and answered audience questions throughout the evening. The Detroit Opera House was a great setting for this show. Friendly staff and comfortable seating. All in all a great night!
It was really great to be able to hear and see Carol in person. We like the format of open questions and reviewing her old film clips. It would have been much better if they had shown a live close-up of Carol on the screen behind her. From where we sat she was just a little person on the stage...we would have loved to see her facial expressions. The sound system was adequate.
Not sure what I expected since her team is respectfully no longer with us. However, there were no mics near where I was sitting on the main floor for asking questions. She stated to get items backstage for her to sign, but yet, she was leaving right afterwards. Would have loved an opportunity for photo or autograph time for the $ of tickets rather than to see old clips that are running on Time/Life Commercials and answering random questions. Please don't get me wrong. I paid a lot of money to see a living legend and she looked beautiful. Just wish there was a bit more opportunity.
Loved watching her when I was growing up, and still do today. Really enjoyed the show, would gladly do it again!
The film clips from the show really set the stage and remind us all why we love her and why we are there. Her stories and recollections are all so interesting, funny and authentic. You can tell by the questions and comments from the audience how adored this national treasure, Carol Burnett, really is.
A pleasant 90 minutes of laughter and memories. Carol answered questions from the audience, showing how quick her wits still are at 85 years old. And interspersed with the questions, there were clips of some of the funniest bits from her long-running show. The best of the bunch was Tim Conway as the clumsy dentist and Harvey Korman as the hapless patient trying desperately to keep it together. And, of course, she shared the part of Went With The Wind with the curtain dress and the best line of the entire skit, "I saw it in the window and I just could't resist it."
At age 85, she can still belt out the Tarzan yell! She is the Queen of Comedy! I love her dearly.
It was a wonderful evening of laughter and reminiscing. Those stories and clips from the show will always be funny. Carol was funny, sharp, engaging and lovely. It gave us all a great warm, fuzzy feeling. I'd sit through it all over again!
My wife and I had a wonderful time listening to Carol's stories and her Q and A with the crowd. I was lucky enough to be chosen to ask her questions, which led to more entertaining stories. Some of the video clips shown, I'd seen before, but I was reminded just how funny and timeless they truly were. A few I'd never seen were even more so. I'm very glad we were able to attend an event that was, for us, a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Really enjoyed the event. She made everyone feel welcomed and what a nice venue.
It was incredible to have a chance to see the legendary Carol Burnett. I was able to get tickets in the 2nd row “pit” thanks to the presale through Ticketmaster. Being so close was awesome!!!
Loved the look back on her show and the wonderfully funny stories. She is so patient and kind with the audience. I’m so glad I had the chance to see her.
We had never been to a live show, but I assure you this was one of the best performances we have ever been to and enjoyed. She was truly Carol today just as she has been for the last many decades. A wonderful delight to spend an evening with her and her fans! We also enjoyed our first time at this venue, we will be going more often.

Carol Burnett took questions from the audience and shared stories and video clips. A great time was had by all from ages of 92 to 9. They don’t make them like her anymore!
I watched her when she had her variety show in the 70's. Her comedy is classic and her tv show is still funny after all these years. She is a classy lady and showed clips from her tv show and interacted with the audience . It was worth the money! I thoroughly enjoyed it. There will never be a comedian like her, her ensemble and her tv show.
It was a fun evening of remembering the great Carol Burnett Show! Nice venue in Jacksonville, but could use a facelift. Ticketmaster, as usual, was great to work with! No issues there at all.
Carol was so open and candid about her career and life. She had the entire place rolling with laughter throughout the entire evening!
Enjoyed listening to her stories and watching clips from the show. Love her Tarzan yell, she is such an amazing lady!
