This is my third time seeing Lalah and each time she's amazing from the opening act to the venue. She really knows how to put on a show!
Beautiful new venue with excellent sound and acoustics for live performances! Really enjoyed and it was fairly easy to find parking even though they don't specifically have a lot attached so could be tricky during inclement weather.
This venue is perfect, no matter where one sits. It's up close and personal. Courteous staff.....thank you
Lalah always has an awesome show. Her voice is flawless. There was a great mix of her old & new music. Jubu Smith was a great opener as well.
My experience was not a pleasant one. I paid my money to see Lalah Hathaway perform not her base player. He opened her show by playing his new songs and signing. He performed 8:00pm to 9:00pm. Lalah got o stage at 9:00 pm to 10:00pm She sang, talked and took a drink of her water and it was over. Lalah Hathaway said good night. Wave and took a bow then walked off the stage. I really couldn't believe what I was hearing and seeing. Lalah could have stayed until 10:30pm or 11:00pm since her name was on the program not her base player. The base player took up one hold hour from her performance. I was very upset and ticked off. Most of her songs came from her new album that nobody never heard of. Lalah could have mixed up the songs up. The old to the new, but it is was it is. I drove one hour just to be disappoint and heart broken. This will be my last show going to see Lalah Hathaway. She got my money this time, but she won't get it anymore. I am still mad about it.
Better than I expected I loved my seating I really enjoyed myself section 130 is the way to go! Amazing views right to the stage
I am new to Cincinnati. I was very impressed to see how Cincinnati came out to support and enjoy Layla Hathaway. The experience would not have been complete without both
I got to event and my tickets were no good. they said my tickets barcode had already been scanned. The issue is between Goticket and Ticketmaster. I was out of 425.00 for tickets.
What a show! I was unsure what to expect and she did not disappoint. The band was outstanding, her voice is amazing, it was a great show.
First things first.... Lalah is Fine! Secondly.... I made sure to purchase a ticket for both nights! Vibrant Vibes. The songs were touching. Soulful. Felt like she was singing to me yall! Cincinnati loves you! So looking forward to the next visit!
She put on a great show! This was at Ludlow Garage, which is a smaller setting. Her opening act was decent as well. I'm glad I was able to finally see her in concert and I will see her again whenever she comes to Cincinnati again!
All the songs sound the same, no showmanship she doesn't engage with the audience. The show is really about her guitarist we watched her meditate for 30 mins while the guitarist played. Not what I expected from Lala Hathaway. The Wiltern is a terrible venue. Will not return.
All I can say, we hated that it ended. Her music is enchanting and ever lasting. As JS says, Little Donnie ( her dad)............
Amazing! One of the best vocalists of all time! The band was great too
This was my first and last time at The Wiltern. The Wiltern needs a serious refresh. It's dingey and outdated. The floor seats are too close to your neighbors; becomes a major issue if the person next to you is large and spewing into your seat, very uncomfortable and violation of your personal space. There was poor airflow in the theater. Lala Hathaway did good.
The show was great, I enjoyed the opening guest Ms Hathaway got vocals, she’s just a beautiful soul
Awesome Show! Jubu Smith playing was the icing on the cake!!
Great view from the moment it began. Lala is a songstress and Jube made that guitar cry. Bad man.
Awesome Show! Jubu Smith paying was the icing on the cake!
