Kris Kristofferson on Tour
When Kris Kristofferson hits the stage, it's clear why he's become a legend of outlaw country. He plays it like he feels it — as an unfancy, master singer-songwriter, sometimes with a band and sometimes without, strumming his acoustic guitar and delivering his game-changing songs with well-weathered style. His character-rich voice lets you know he's been around the block more than once, and the songs combine a poet's command of language with a country singer's knack for putting things together organically so they go down easy. Along the way, he slips in his one-of-a-kind perspective on things. He might be unpacking the wistful romanticism of "Me and Bobby McGee" or depicting the morning-after madness of "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down," but he always makes you see the world a bit differently.
Kris Kristofferson in Concert
After Kris Kristofferson first started making waves in Nashville in the late '60s, country music (and American music) was forever changed. Singer-songwriters had never written so frankly about sensuality, and country had never had its own Bob Dylan before. With Kristofferson came a glorious collision of poetry-laden lyrics and countercultural sensibilities with the attitude of rock 'n' roll and the template of classic country. Besides making waves with his own albums, he reached into our collective conscience through his songs' numerous covers, performed by artists like Janis Joplin ("Me and Bobby McGee") and Sammi Smith ("Help Me Make It Through the Night"). Before the '70s were over, his natural charisma and chiseled countenance had helped make him a movie star too, with films like Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and A Star Is Born. Later he became a member of legendary supergroup The Highwaymen, alongside Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. As the decades passed, Kristofferson has never backed away from his commitment to write and perform to the utmost of his abilities. He's a true-blue American legend.

Amazing! I am so happy I got to see him play and sing.
There is no doubt that Kris Kristofferson can express all that we feel, hope, dream, and fear in his lyrics. Perhaps being solo on stage and being the age he is laid bare the emotional connection his words forge with your soul. His body of work transcends the passage of time, the physical changes we all face, and it was easy to embrace the evening's experience as a wonderful opportunity to "make it through the night" with Kris!
Kris Kristofferson is a legend. He came on stage old school style, just him, a guitar and a harmonica. Nothing else. Nothing else needed. He played for two hours and at 80 is just as badass as ever. He did not disappoint. If you get the chance check it out, you will not be disappointed. .
Kris is a legend. I am so happy that I was able to see him! 80+ years and still going strong. Good for him!
i have enjoyed Kris my entire life. I saw a legend still sharing his wisdom, views and music. I feel lucky to have been there. Don't miss it if your a fan!!
Kris came on stage by himself, wearing black, and a guitar. More real and raw than ever. Stunningly beautiful delivery of simple lyrics that hit down to the bone. My favorite performance by far.
At age 80, Kris remains as charming and moving as ever. He played all his best known songs and many others. Just Kris, his guitar, his voice... harmonica a few songs. That's all he needed, no band necessary. His songs are both simple and deep at the same time, and it was great to hear him sing them. For anyone who appreciates the beauty of simplicity, and the point where folk and country cross, go hear Kris in concert. A perfect evening.
Excellent show can't believe he's 81 yrs old still sounds like he used to.. Great show.
As he always does Kris gave his all and a great performance. The crowd was awesome and I was pleased to see how many young people were in the audience. Hope he is back in our area soon.
A true legend and icon, in a beautiful theater on stage with a guitar and a microphone. Intimate and amazing, and so many legendary songs. Do not miss the chance to see one of our true American musical icons.
Iconic performance from a truly iconic performer. Great appreciative audience. Still a great performer even at age 81. Would of liked him to talk more about his career
Kris Kristofferson is old and a little frail, yes, but to see & hear him perform such iconic music was a real treat.
Kris was by himself, just his Guitar and Harmonica. It wasn't Awesome show. He played 45 minutes took a 15 break then played 50 minutes more.
Could have watch this man for two days instead of two hours!
It was great to see Kris Kristofferson but it's obvious he's getting older. He forgot some of the words to one of his songs and seemed very tired as he performed. Overall am glad I went.
He was absolutely terrific! Imagine, he's 80 years old and still has it all! Love you Kris!
Blown Away! A religious experience. Tears and laughter. Thanks for coming to Boston! We love you!

American songwriting icon. Low key presentation of songwriting prowess.
The music was strong and heart felt. A unforgettable experience.
